Bonobos Golf

Bonobos appears to have a new golf line called Maide. The fit of their current lines are amazing and I assume this line fits just as well. It's not all that extensive though it has to start with something.

Their old golf line which was discontinued a couple of months ago fit amazing and was very affordable. I ended up getting every color of their shirts in my size for around $13 each during their sale. So if the new line is anything like their old line I'm sure it's worth a try.

I wish they had the GREEN pants from last year, love the material and fit!
Waiting to hear about the 2013 offering. I have several pairs of chinos and some of the travel pants, as will as a couple of pairs of golf pants all great quality!

I got a few pairs of pants early last year and a couple more later in the year. The early ones fit perfectly, awesome slim fit. The newer ones were much baggier. I hope that's not the direction they went with the new line.

I wish they had some of the colors from last year, especially the green. Interesting to hear they became baggier. Interested to hear about these new ones when someone gets a pair.

I noticed in the "Lookbook" section of their page they have a picture of the "Highland Pant" in "Augusta Green," so hopefully we'll get those sometime soon.

I just spoke to the guys at Bonobos they said the “Augusta Green” pants will be coming back in the next month. They also said more colors will be introduced as the year goes along. The fit is the same as last years version.
I’m going to wait for the GREEN it’s the one color I missed out on last year.

I kind of agree with you on the fit issue. I had a few pair from 2011, and the fit was, I guess, "regular." Not baggy at all, but not really slim, either. I bought a pair of the khaki ones when they came out last year, and I really liked the way they had made the fit a bit slimmer (and, it felt like to me, made the rise a bit lower). The material also felt a little heavier, which I liked. It seemed more durable, but wasn't hot at all, and it had a bit more stretch to it. I bought a new black and white pair to replace the ones I'd had from 2011 and got the same fit as the khaki ones. Then late in the year when they came out with the light grey, I bought those, and it seemed like the fit had gone back to the 2011 style (though still with the heavier fabric). I like them, but not as much as the slimmer ones. I'd think about getting the red pair this year, but I'd definitely prefer it if they were the slimmer fit.

I have to say I'm also a bit disappointed in the shirt offerings so far. In 2011 they had awesome golf shirts made out of a performance fabric. I have two of those, and they're my favorite golf shirts. The material is a little heavier than most golf shirts I own, but not too hot, and nice and stretchy. So to just see 50/50 cotton/poly pique shirts so far was a bit disappointing. Hope they come out with more of the old style ones as the year goes on.

Agreed. Last year's pants are excellent. Can't comment on the new ones. Shirts are lacking, IMO

Hmm I got ones during their last sale and felt they were pretty slim. Slimmer than the Nike modern fit and I'm a pretty thin guy. I actually prefer the Nikes

Love their pants, but the last pair I ordered (38/32) fit like 40/34. Not much I can do about it now as I've worn them once. Hopefully a larger friend is interested in them.

Regarding the polos, we're pretty happy with the look and feel. We we going for that classic cotton shirt but with the performance and stretch of a modern polo. I think it looks like cotton but performs like a tech shirt should. We are also expanding our polo offering with 3 different stripe colorways very soon. Later this year you will also see the collection double to 40 pieces so stay tuned and thanks for the support.

Any chance the price point comes down lol. Just can't fathom spending that much for golf pants. Every round some kind off spill gets on my pants and pray it is a dry round. I spend 50 max on nice slacks in the office, can't fathem spending 100 bones on golf pants when one *****er in the thick stuff puts a rip in me. I picked up a pairs 4 pairs of the Bonobos golf pants a few months back during the clearance sale, and they are by far the nicest golf pants I own. Material, construction, fit, and even the packaging when delivered, were all top notch. I even scored a pair of the above mentioned Augusta Green ones, and they quickly became my favorites.

Had these pants not gone on sale, I'm not sure I'd ever bought a pair. But now, after owning a few pairs, I'm not put off at the price anymore. Currently considering a pair of the reds as well, but I should probably wait for some courses to open first.

I'd love to see some plaid or tartan pattern pairs as well.

Ben, any chance the pants and shorts will be available without the logo? I really want to give them a shot but am not a fan in general of logos, especially if my shirt already has one and I'm wearing a different brand with a different logo on my bottoms. It probably seems a bit anal I know, but I must say that but the entire name Bonobos on them is a turn off for me. Thanks for listening.

Try Brooks Brothers - pretty conservative but large range of styles and fits.

Really like it when owners get involved and respond to feedback. I'm a Nike guy but will give Bonobos/Maide Golf a chance.
