I have finally put a WITB together. A little about me, I am from the mountains of NC and absolutely love it here. I am a proud alum of Appalachian State University, as you can see from my bag.

 

The bag is the plain black and white S83 TItleist staff bag. I love the simple look and for a staff bag it isn't too big and since I don't walk it is pretty awesome.

 

 

My driver is a Tour Issue R9 Supertri 9.5*. I got this from Will Peoples and it really fits my eye and my swing better than anything I have hit so far. I have a Project X Black 6.5 in it that plays 45'' I removed all the paint and left it all black. My head cover is Yosef, the mascot of App State.

 

 

 

 

The three wood is one of my favorite clubs. It took a lot to replace my old R5 Dual but when I hit this R11 ti on a LM I hit it only 5 yards shorter than the R11 driver. I love it but cannot like the white crown, so I sent it off to Continental golf which is here in NC so it was a pretty quick turn around and a really great job. I removed the paint fill and polished the ASP plate. This is shafted with a Project X black 6.5 Seventy.

 

 

My hybrid is the 09 Taylor Made rescue. I have got it used from Golf Galaxy just to try and really liked it. I haven't come across anything I feel more confident with since so its still in the bag. I have a Project X black 7.0 in it.

 

Irons are a set of Titleist AP2 712 4-GW. I had the original AP2s and liked them so I recently upgraded to these and put Project X 6.0 flighted in them. I struggle with accuracy with my irons but the added forgiveness is great. I put the yellow and black ferrules and paint fill are for App State.

 

 

The wedges are the 09 Vokey spin milled. I put my initials and a four leaf clover stamped on these after a few practice hits on my old wedges. These also have Project X 6.0s in them.

 

 

All clubs are gripped with Winn DSI grips

 

 

My putter is my pride and Joy!This MACHINE Features a Custom Damascus Steel M1A Adjuster Head with a Damascus Steel Modular Center Shaft - Shaft Over Hosel and a Custom Damascus Steel Medallion. I saved up any loose change and any money for gifts and treated myself to this beauty. I absolutely love it. It is buttery smooth and gorgeous to look at. I put a black KBS stepless shaft with a Best Grips stitchback grip with yellow stitching. I didn't want to go too over the top and ruin the beauty of this so I left the paint fill black. The guys at machine are amazing and will help you with anything you need and are great at what they do. I cannot say enough about how awesome the putters they make are. The machine head covers are really nice but I have always loved the 09 US Open Cameron head cover. I like history and the P51 look is unbeatable.

 

 

 

 

 

In my bag I use Zero Friction tees and Titleist Pro V1x balls which I mark out the T,t,l,e,i and it leaves i t s which are my initials. I also use a Skycaddie SGX range finder and mark my ball with my Machine Damascus steel ball marker. And a autographed Machine valuables pouch.

Oh yeah which one? We had a couple taken in the draft and a few other guys sign some free agent deals. Big year for us.

The valuables pouch was from Machine when you sign up for their membership program. PM them for details on that but in mine I got a Damascus ball marker and a hat, head cover and that.
