Most ridiculous thing heard on the range

I thought I've heard everything until tonight. A guy was hitting what I thought was a R1 with fubuki. He told his buddies it was a clone but it was so good the company had to get tmag's permission. Most clones according to him did not need permission because TMAG is not too worried they will out sale the real deal. Lots more comic gold followed.

A friend telling his buddy "Dude, watch me hit the truck". The truck is parked out at around 265 or 270 yds.

He looked over at me after saying that and asked "How far to the truck? About 350, right?"

"Little less than that" I laughed.

He took about 70 attempts and never hit a ball farther than 200 in the air. He let his buddy use his clubs and his friend broke not one, but two of his clubs by swinging so steeply into the mat.

That's just sad. Probably will make the kid hate the game. What are they trying to get him on tour to get their retirement secure?

This actually happened to a friend of mine in college. He was a pretty good golfer. He could go two years without picking up a club and shoot low 80's on an unfamiliar course. But he never plays more then once or twice a year because his dad made him play competitively until HS. Most of the kids he grew up playing with went on to play college golf, but he hated the whole scene around it because of how he was exposed to it as a kid.

On another instance, I got to the range early in the morning, went to the end of the range thinking I would be by myself and let out a thunderous fart. Then went about my business of selecting a wedge and stretching. I turn around and realize there was a middle aged woman two stalls down. There is no way she didn't hear it. So embarrassed.

Not on the range, but I did this in a hotel gym, I was on the treadmill, with headphones on, and dropped my guts. There were too young girls behind me, that weren't there when I started. I turned around and got red faced, they were dying laughing, so it made it a little better.

I had a guy go off on my buddy and I one winter in an indoor golf dome

We were sharing a mat, rotating between who hits, and the guy hitting usually has a quiet chat with the guy waiting. Never had an issue and we are very respectful

This guys started screaming at us that we should shut up and respect other people's needs etc etc

I looked at him and said "are you having a bad day sir" and his face went redder than a tomato, It was funny as he was a complete slasher

It was crazy as you the insides of those domes are so loud already. I still remember how enraged this guy was
