No, that was just an easy one. Actually, when I was in high school and college, I was a big fan of the white belt look. That was 10 years ago though. Everyone of my college team made fun of me for it then, and most of them own white belts now. In all seriousness though, of all those things I listed, how many have you owned at one point or another?

We are about the same age...I know for a fact I had a pair of True Religion Jeans maybe 05-06...early on. I think the only reason I bought them initially is that they came in 36 length (I'm 6'5") That lasted for like a year - tops. (I did go thru a little Rock & Republic kick there for awhile too!). Mostly now I wear Se7en or APC jeans - mostly because they make 36 inseam stock jeans.

I have a maybe a few designer black button ups in the closet somewhere...but they haven't seen the light of day for quite some time.

See; I think this is taking a white belt comparison a step too far. If we're talking an oversized, studded-out buckle on a white belt; think your analogy would be spot on. The white belt, worn properly and with appropriate golf attire really isn't flashy, trendy, or anything to get that worked up about.

I got to agree with the guy that said the white belt isn't all that flashy. I think we'll see the white belt come back around the same time next year when the "hard collar" shirts come around, as the white matches the white hard collar. Last year the hard collar came back strong around the Open Championship(British Open) I heard the hard collars allow the players to dress for the evening by only adding a jacket. White belts/collars match lighter colors better, and you'll see the white back when next years nice weather and hard collars are back.

Maybe you took a wrong turn somewhere, but this is the "Golf Style and Accessories" forum so, um, that's what people discuss here...
I wear dress pants or suit / shirt + tie every day to work and jeans when I'm "on the street" so what I wear on the course is very different. If you wear jeans when you play golf; do a search on it, there are plenty of threads you can chime in on.
