I think all the original people that helped build this monster thread are all gone. Slicefixer is gonna have to rely on Newbees to make money now. Not that he needs it but wow he's lost a lot of business.

If you think Geoff wrote this book to make money then you don't know Geoff

Seriously, this is so true. I'm not sure why some feel the need to post somewhat inflammatory stuff about Geoff when they don't know him and have never met him, but if they did meet him, I bet they'd change their tune quickly. Also, all these comments about Geoff "losing business" are so ridiculous. Geoff doesn't even have a functional website or his phone number widely available on the internet, and he still is booked solid for months ahead of time. He even tells me to just schedule lessons and not worry about canceling them even last minute because, in his words, "Believe me, not matter how little notice I have, I WILL fill it"

Did not mean to be inflammatory at all. Im just saying It is a huge missed opportunity, even though he is booked solid he should have hit the market with the book and web site while he was the talk of the town. I have never posted inflammatory remarks on Golfwrx in all the years I have been on it but I guess Print can sound that way when you dont mean for it to. Anyway its still a missed opportunity even though he will make it up in the long run.

Yeh, I get where you are coming from, but I'm still not sure why it's even a "missed opportunity". He is currently doing what he is best at, and is usually so overbooked that the possibility of giving more lessons just isn't there. Also, I don't think he was ever interested in becoming a huge internet instruction sensation. He freely admits that this swing requires a lot of work, and his increased popularity would have probably brought a lot of people his way who were less inclined to do the work. I think for what he is teaching its good that people have to go out of their way to get in touch with him. It shows a certain commitment to the process, commitment that will certainly be needed well after seeing Geoff if you really want to "get" his swing.

So, this is all a long way of saying, he never WANTED what so many on here seem to think he could've had. So, again, I don't see what missed opportunity there was.

In case any of you missed the above post by Wordmixer, he got back from Texas a few days ago and the progress is good. I don't want to speak for him, but in my opinion, the book is pretty much ready to go.

It will be worth the wait.

Hung out with Geoff today. He says book is almost there. I heard abt one chapter ( not swing related ). From the sounds of it...this is gonna be good
