My Dog Just Ate 38 Reece's Minis

We had a Boston terrier that ate a beer can. We did have to take her to the Vet to have it surgically removed. Bostons are kin to Billy goats they will eat anything.
We have a Pit Lab mix at work (towing company) that is absolutely a garbage disposal. she will eat plastic pieces off of wrecked cars if you don't watch and an unattached seat does not have a chance. We have to put the wrecks with hanging pieces in a special place away from her.

No. The exact opposite is true. Chocolate is poisonous (although as some here said the small amount in reese's minis is negligible) while peanut butter is actually good for dogs. My vet advised me to coat my dog's meds with it if she wouldn't swallow them in her food. And I used to give her a spoonful every once in while just for a laugh watching her make spaz faces trying to get it unstuck from the roof of her mouth.

Peanut Butter can cause pancreatitis in dogs, not all dogs. And no, I'm not making that up. Almost any high fat food can (with higher concentrations than animal fat). Get low fat peanut butter if you want to keep feeding them peanut butter.

Just looked it up, and it seems that peanut butter and other high fat foods are dangerous for animals that already have pancreatitis issues. I guess my vet knew my dog didn't have those issues...

One of my dogs spent some time learning to feed himself in the wild (the mean streets of Gad[u]s[/u]den, AL) before he was rescued. He hasn't stopped since. We watch him like a hawk, but sometimes he still gets the best of us. In the last week has eaten a 1/2 pound of coffee he found in my mother in law's suitcase, about 1/4 of a honey baked ham, and the lion's share of a corn casserole that he pulled out of the refrigerator. I'm hoping the refrigerator was left open accidentally. Otherwise, he has learned how to open the fridge and we are in big trouble!
