SkyCaddie is now compatible with both Mac and Windows

Good for them... hard to understand why it took so long considering the WebKit frameworks.

Unfortunately, they never bothered to respond when I emailed them several months ago to inquire if this was in the works. GolfLogix did however so I ended up going with them.

But more choices are a good thing!

thanks for the post, i just connected, updated and downloaded new courses. for the mac users, you'll need to download the usb driver and you will need to reboot, after that you should be able to update your skycaddie if you havent and dl the courses.

they had a software update for the WINDOWS users as well plus a local course I requested to be mapped showed up as completely mapped with 4 stars

I never thought it would happen as this course has a contract with a GPS company that installed GPS units on all the golf carts...very nice systems with scoring and shows you location of other carts on course and all the bells and whistles. Figured there would be a monopoly but appears they got someone to approve it and walk the course and map all the hazards, targets, greens, etc for a full mapping. Cant wait to check it out.
