Same here. Previous versions of their drivers always make me want to open the face of the driver because it doesn't look to me like the arrows point straight. Curious as to what the racing stripes do.

Ill take some of what I said in earlier threads back. The racing stripes don't look that bad in those pictures. Still think they should have left them off

I like the stripe. The headcover looks terrific too. The driver looks a lot like the i20.

Drivers feature new shafts called PWR -performance, weighting and responsiveness. They are weighted so that a different shaft weight won't change the swing weight. So I guess, a lighter shaft would have more weight in the tip to keep the swing weight unchanged. It might sound good but wonder if there is a loss in performance.

The G25 will be tough to beat. 3 yrs to find the right racing stripes shows how seriously Ping takes the feature. Let's see if it works.

Does anyone have a copy of the ping driver comparison chart? I know I've seen it on here however I can't seem to find it. I'd like to see how the i25 stacks up to the i20 and the G15.

The i20 driver was really long but not forgiving enough for me. This will have to do battle with the g25. Did they say what lofts are available?

Totally agree, funny that I was just messing around with a couple drivers yesterday and I never noticed how much the G25 made me want to set it up open. It worked great for me in the fall on the course so no complaints but sitting next to a couple other drivers I have its shocking how much more closed they look compared to the g25 at setup.

Nice looking club. Looks a little more compact than the G25. Is that just me or is it really? If it is I'll really like hitting this club. I love the G25, it's just a little too big for me. I need something a little more compact.

However, given the low spin nature of the head and the shaft options available, the Anser seems to be the most "Player" driven of their current driver offerings.

I wonder how this would fare in a head to head test v. the Anser.

I had one myself, and switched to the G25 because mishits didn't stay in the air enough. The Anser is so low spin that flush contact was something special, but again...the non-perfect strikes were not so good.

Not buying the crown graphic argument. I think that would distract better golfers, and probably belongs on a different line. The hybrid looks pretty good though.

That was the same exact experience I had with the Anser... I hit some of my longest drives ever with that driver, but I ended up with an Amp Cell Pro. It isn't quite as long, but the added forgiveness makes up for all of that.

It took 3 years to develop the racing strip. That is incredible. That was three years they could had made a real improvement on the headcover or grip. ;-).

Not as bad as I thought the stripes would be.

Loving the hybrid though, shape looks great.
Mixture of the G20 (shape) and G25 (matte crown, colours)
Maybe a bit of Adams in there as well, mmmm might have to get one of these as prefer the driving iron look

I can't wait to try this out.

I went to Golfsmith this weekend ($50 off coupon) with all intentions of getting a new driver and fairway wood to replace my G20 9.5* and 15*, but couldn't find anything that outperformed the G20. The G20 was 17 yards longer on average than anything I hit with a much tighter shot dispersion. I hit five balls with each driver and tossed the worst performing drive.

I couldn't get into the G25 because of the shape, so I'm hoping the i25 will be it!

I don't care for the "Titanium" and "Tungsten" name stitching, but still a good headcover.

I could be wrong, but the i25 hybrid looks a lot like the 913H, at least from the bottom. Might have more offset than previous years too.
