Missing something

I have a very inconsistent swing and I can't figure out why. I record myself and study it like crazy but I can't see anything that I'm doing which is obviously wrong. I was hoping somebody here could let me know what they think. For a while, I had an issue trying to keep my head down and would often raise it up and top the ball, but I have since worked on it. In the video that I am inviting you to watch, you will notice that my head stays down yet I am still "topping" the ball because the club never reached the ground again in both of the videos and I am really boggled about why this is. Club is 7 iron. Please tell me what you think about my swing and what improvements I can make. That would be awesome. Thanks.

One of the things I would like to improve on is my extension after impact. It looks like when my hands are pointing at the target, my club shaft is about 90 degrees up. It's as if I have an ok impact position, but then my hands flip after contact and it just looks and feels not right.

well...your first problem is you posted this in "Ladies Swing Performance Academy"!
Looking at the side view video and you could work on your posture, your shoulders need to come back a bit (slumped). Also your balance...coming out of your swing from poor balance will cause inconsistent impact (you wind up topping the ball a lot because you are not keeping down thru impact). I can see that on both views. My instructor says that the whole "keeping your head down" thing has been misunderstood because you have to also keep the body down thru impact...and that's more critical than a little head movement (see: Annika Sorenstam).

SETUP needs work before anything. Hips are closed,shoulders are open, hands are really low. The "head" deal u mentioned is almost always never the problem, yet amateurs seem to always go there first. So start with alignment and posture to help raise those hands up. Will put u in much stronger position.
