Where do you get your golf balls?

I just realized I was avoiding a major expense in the game of golf. I DONT BUY GOLFBALLS! I cannot remember the last time I bought a ball. I get all my balls by finding them, and where I play there are plenty of high dollar Bridgestone and Titleist balls that can be found with ease.

 

So do y'all buy balls, or find them, or you just never buy balls bc you never hit it out?!?!

I buy my golf balls mostly from Dicks since I work near one and have been playing the Gamer Tour sold new only at DSG or GG. I occasionally will buy a sleeve at the pro shop if I have the urge to try a different ball.

Was just going to say this. Bought 2 dozen at the beginning of last year and won enough pro shop credit to go throughout the year not having to buy balls and still have 2 brand new boxes waiting for me for this year.

I have several deals working here. This being a tourist area we get lots of lost balls. Almost all of the retirees hawk balls here. I do have a deal with some of the divers. If they have bags of balls that they don't sell here I do buy them as is. I usually get enough ProVs and Srixon Z stars for me and usually clean up the others for wholesale away from the beach. I usually get enough balls for me and can sell the others for a small profit. I use those to play with unless playing competition then I use brand new balls. Since I have not played any events for 4 years or so I have not bought any new balls.

Lostgolfballs.com can be pretty good too. Is ebay cheaper though? I have noticed that lgb is a lot cheaper this time of year. I love using it to try out a new type of ball without a big investment. When you're lucky you can get a code for $5 off and shipping on a dozen balls is about $6 so it essentially cancels out. Just got some yellow hex chromes for $11!

I only buy from a golf retailer like Dicks or GG. Too many times I've walked into Wal-Mart or Target and seen a dozen of pro v's have a sleeve removed and replaced with a cheaper ball.

I try and use giftcards when I have them, but I also live in a neighborhood with a course so I find more than I lose.

LGB and eBay retailers. When needing balls or just wanting to try something out, there has never not been something of value to buy going that route.
