Black cavity and black shaft make it look cheap.

Oh, and all the mystery milled putters by Odyssey have black shafts. So all of the major putter manufacturers other than Scotty have cheap looking stuff? I'm going to say no. That is one SWEET looking putter. I can't wait to try it. Take your sour grapes elsewhere.

Did not say anything in defense about Cameron putters. No sour grapes. Just my opinion.

To each his own, I guess. I have loved the look of those Ghost Tours and these. Putters, above every other club in the bag, are personal preference.

Well, they definitely look better than the Stand Alone putters made a few years ago. Will they still be able to stand up if you adjust the lie? Not sure if it would throw off the balance point.

I've recently switched putters to the Taylormade Spider Mallet 35" (counter balanced). The feel and control of CB'ing is amazing which has instantly resulted in my best putting. I will definitely give the mallet a go to see how it compares. Good job Bridgestone.

Really liking the mallet - long neck/face balanced and a really clean look at address. Curious to find out what material the insert is made of though, and also the head weights.

Price point anyone?
From the WRX article.

The True Balance Putters ($199) have 360-gram heads made from 304 SS with dual-layered polymer inserts. Their graphite shafts weigh only 35 grams, and their EVA rubber grips are even lighter: 20 grams. And yes, the putter heads are so much heavier than the shaft and the grip that the putters can stand on their own.
Steel-shafted versions of the putters ($149) are also available, including the TD-02, a double-bend mallet version. They’ll be available in March.

I think they look good with the exception of the insert. That being said, I'd still love to give one a go.

I mean, I like golf balls
but not that much.

Where am I gonna find a 20g grip to replace the yellow one when it looks like a used & dirty highlighter in a week?

Hmm, not quite sure I understand BStone and their releases.

Many on WRX going ape-sh1t for follow ups to the J40 CBs and DPCs (myself included), so what does BridgeStone do? "Guys, let's bring out some cool putters that stand up on their own, yeah that's it!!"

Don't get it.
