Why I start to hate this part of the year

This winter has been brutal. Lake effect snow here on the shores of Lake Michigan. Roads too dangerous to drive the 1.5 hours to the nearest heated range. Hopefully this is my last Michigan winter...

Brutal for us too. I've played a total of 9 holes this year. I did get to hit balls on the range Sunday. And suppose to warm for a few days by weekend. But we have 2 inches of snow on the ground at the moment.

Not much golf played since early Dec. So much for nice winter weather here in the south.

With all the snow and rain we've been getting on the Eastern sea board, I'll be lucky to play before April here in South East Virginia. Consider yourself lucky. I'm wearing a hole in my carpet putting to a makeshift cup.

We don't get to complain in southern VA where there is snow every other winter, lol.

You'll be playing soon enough! (As will I because I'll be in Chesapeake starting sometime next week for a little while, haha) Which courses do you like to play in the area? Most of the time when I'm there it's Battlefield (haha) because its a few minutes from my GF's house. Cahoon and Chesapeake golf course are pretty nice tracks, though.

Wanna know why I hat this time of year? Because I needed something to do with golf so I sold my 2013 X Forged with C-tapers and bought the ones in my sig. I loved that combo. That's why I hate this time of year. Well, and shoveling - that sucks too!

Traded in a bunch of clubs that were collecting dust in the corner, pickup up Covert 2.0 Tour 3W from global golf. I haven't hit the club yet, love the color and the grip though. Actually thinking of an all Nike bag, or perhaps AP714s (I detest anything Titleist), maybe Callaway Apex Pros (I can't stand Callaway either).

Will most likely get a Damascus, tuna milled DH89 as a bday present to myself. Decisions decisions...

We're supposed to get 6-10 inches of snow on Wednesday. We reached a low temperature of -25 last week with the wind chill. I haven't hit a shot off of grass since November. I'm sorry but I have no sympathy for you lol. (Just envy)
