They have an image problem and don't do nearly enough to promote the product. The irons are the clear winner in the lineup, and they really need to try and get them in the hands of some club pros/juniors/top ams.

I'm guessing the blank "712U" is either a 714U proto or a heavily modded 712U one off for a player. Not unusual for Titleist to stamp the head only after the player approves the design.

They need to find a niche and quite trying to just make really good clubs. Their irons are really good but they aren't better than two or three other companies. Something has to differentiate then from other companies.
