One or Two balls?

2. This question is for people who cherish their "premium" balls like a fat kid cherishes candy.

Quit playing scared and play the premium the whole round! If I lose a ball on a hole, I will usually find one of equal value somewhere else during the round.

Not to be a jerk (well, maybe), but a 24 HDC using a ProV1 is like a 90 year old driving a Ferrari. Not impossible but not practical.

I'm still trying to figure out how someone can be too busy to read 6-8 posts, but not too busy to have time to reply to questions on a golf website. Between that and defining an intelligent conversation about the correct answer that would have saved him from looking stupid as "garbage", I'm really confused on this one.

It was blunt but to the point. I would probably try to soften the wording somewhat, but I agree with the sentiment. If you start thinking about the water to that extent, you've already lost. I use the same ball for every shot. I don't plan on hitting shots into the water.

This is an economic issue. I used to give a buddy all the pro v1 that came my way until I watched him hit four in a row into a water hazard. He's on his own now. It is better to be realistic than ball-broke imo.
