Greetings from Balmy Minnesota! March 2nd and the temp is 0! 6 weeks to The Masters so hopefully the snow, ice and frost are gone by then! Here is a glimpse into my WITB for 2014, Enjoy!

 

Driver - TaylorMade SLDR TP 430 - Tour Spec 7.3 Stiff - 10.5 Degrees

FW - Titleist 913F - Phenom 80 Stiff - 16 Degrees

Hyb - Adams Super 9031 - Diamana White Board - 20 Degrees

Irons - Mizuno MP-53 - 4 - PW - Project Xi - 6.0

Wedges - Titleist SM4 - 52, 56, 60

Putter - Scotty Cameron Custom Shop Select Newport 2

Absolutely love the "Gunga Galunga", one of the best scenes from that movie… Nice WITB...

[/quote]I was at Golf Galaxy when the Odyssey 2-ball first came out. I couldn't make a 3' putt into a big cup right handed so I grabbed a left handed putter. Tried 5 putts from 20', made 4 and the rest is history.

[/quote]The hybrid is hot, as are the irons. Just picked these up this year at 2nd swing. New in box for $600, feels like a steal!

Sweet setup, very sharp! I only pray that you're correct about the weather… I recall playing in some snow flurries the Sunday that Zach Johnson won The Masters… I really hope that is not the case this year.

How do you like theSLDR 430? Debating on getting the 460 or the 430. Have you played both?

I play righty, am left handed and did putt left handed for quite a while. Never made much so went back to righty. Never liked the fact that my left should felt like it was around my ear. So went to cross handed and have stayed there.

[/quote]I like the 430 better than the 460 and especially with the 77 gram shaft. The 460 is slightly more forgiving but I hit the 430 more crisp and it is more workable than the 460. I was 7 yards farther and less spin with the 430. If you are consistently hitting in the center, I would suggest the 430. It is really easy to draw or cut.

I used to game the R11S and the SLDR is 25 yards farther in the air.
