I honestly think they look terrible with pants to and I am a Nike guy. The green soles on the whites ones and the white/brown soles on the black ruin them.

These still appeal to me massively. The right type of fitted pants would look amazing with them.

As noted, I was loving the ads too, but not liking the way the black ones look on Charls. Not bad, but not special IMO. Maybe the whites are where it's at.

Need to see in person, as I just bought both the FJ DryJoy Casual and DNAs both in white. (OT but I'm not a FJ guy, first pairs in 15 years, but these shoes felt and looked right).

When are these supposed to hit stores? I've seen them at Nike's online store but brick and mortar stores like Golfsmith and PGATSS, around me, have yet to receive any pairs of the Claytons. Hard to justify the money if you can't try them on.

Just got mine yesterday. Haven't played golf in them considering I live in the polar vortex (Michigan) but they are very comfortable. I was concerned about how they would look with shorts on and there is no problem whatsoever. But if you're wearing a pair of pants that fit you well.....they look dead sexy.

I was concerned about how they would look with shorts on and there is no problem whatsoever. But if you're wearing a pair of pants that fit you well.....they look dead sexy.

Not saying this because I already have them and are stuck with them haha but I do think they look nice with shorts. I prefer that "classic" golf shoe look rather than sneakers.

Ask any questions or if you want a different angle I could try. The iPhone doesn't take the best pictures and thats all I got.

I've seen lots of guys wear classy looking shoes with shorts. In my opinion, all white colorways usually look best, so you can definitely get away with wearing these with shorts. I have a pair of all white stuburt wingtips that I think go well with shorts.

One last question. Can anyone tell me how they weigh? I've looked on the Nike Golf site as well as Golf Locker, but i can't find any info on how much they weigh. If they're the same weight as the former FJ Classics, then i'll probably pass. However, if these are still a lightweight shoe and look awesome, then i'm all in.

I am still liking the whites. Agree they can be pulled off with shorts (thanks for the pics) because the wing-tip is subtle.

They weigh 15.6 oz. Just for comparison sakes:
TW 14: 14.5 oz
Footjoy DNA: 15 oz
Adidas Adipure 360: 18.2 oz

Tried on both colors, i prefer the gray with the volt sole. Time to save up to get a pair.
