First Scotty Custom Shop Experience

Hello,

I thought that I mine as well share my putter and see what you guys thought of it.

 

I picked up the Golo off a fellow wrxer around the middle of the summer last year, and completely fell in love with it. I gamed it for the rest of the season and with some extra Christmas money from relatives thought I should splurge. I sent it in on January 7th, and they received it on the 17th. ( Being from Alberta, Canada I expected a little longer wait then the norm ) I just received my putter back on February 11th, so all in all 36 days including shipping both ways.

Overall I am very happy with the whole experience from speed and quality of work! highly recommended from me!

Nice putter and I'm pleased to hear the turnaround was fairly quick. I sent mine in recently and would love to not have to wait the whole 50 days + shipping time.

That does look great. I have always wanted to get a putter featured, but it has not happened yet. Did they inform you, or did you just happen to catch it on the website?

Hey, Nice looking putter. Can i ask what shipping carrier Scotty Cameron used? Did you have to pay any extra taxes/duty once it arrived at your house. Thinking about sending in a putter or two but wondering on the fees. Btw, I'm also from Alberta!

haha, wasnt in the mood to drop another 70 or however much on a different one, so i just went with that one because it comes free with the restoration!

Alberta is like the American's side of Canada.

I'm Canadian too, but the cover is very nice.Anyway like you said it was free

bumping my old thread* didn't know if i should create a new thread or just build on this one*
But, could someone give me a little insight on this and / or have a recommendation.. I've been playing around with the idea of counterbalancing the putter and am debating picking up some customized 20g weights off of ebay? Does anyone have any insight on the quality of the weights that are sold or have a specific seller they can refer me to on ebay?
The 30$ for weights and tool is very tempting but don't want to be disappointed.
