I was curious because I bought my driver with a blueboard 73x off eBay a couple years ago and it was advertised as tour issue. I got it for a good enough deal that it didn't really matter but I was always curious. Guess the guy lied but oh well. I didn't buy it cause it was "tour issue" but because I wanted a G15. Anyways, thank you for checking for me

Thanks! Im assuming it separates the 3 iron because I don't have it "in the bag" on my Ping locker?

No, it is because the three iron was ordered at a different time. That is why there are two order numbers on that lookup. This is pretty common and they were built with the same specs, but they will always look up seperatley because of when they were made.

Socrates, you've been a big help to me. I saw these sets of irons that were used and I just needed to know the specs because the i25 set was the same length as the i20s which I knew was longer than standard so I was surprised that the i25s came standard length based on your info. Maybe the guy had them lengthened on his own.

No worries. I have no problem looking up #'s for that kind of info, but I was beginning to wonder if guys were just asking out of curiosity and or novelty.

Just found this topic and was wondering if one of you guys could check two wedge serial numbers for me. Our golf shop took them as trade and something about them doesn't look right to me. Might be that one has a shaft band installed backwards. Serial #'s 2N0422, 2N0421. I am guessing it is zero, could be an O. Thanks for the help.

Fluke? Person took shaft out (maybe added weight) and re-installed it upside down?

I picked up an old Ping Zing laminated Driver at a used sporting goods store. I'm curious about the shaft. The matching 3wd (I didn't buy) had a Ping steel shaft but this one looks like True Temper ??

Lets give Socrates a break. A phone call to Ping will get you guys the same answer as what he's pulling up. I think it's a great thing he's doing, but I'm sure the man has other things he rather be doing with his time. I just think he might be to nice to say no.

I've called Ping several times and they've always been very forthcoming worth any info they had regarding a specific serial number.

I have no real problem doing it, but once the golf season starts (good god when will it start?), I'll have better things to do. Please keep the requests reasonable (checking specs before you buy because they look off or similar), not something where you're just curious about the clubs you've had for 6 months.

I'm hoping to win a set of i20 irons later today and would like to check authenticity before I pay. Whilst I would normally just ring or email Ping myself, this is a bank holiday weekend over here as it may well be with you as well, which means I can't do that for at least a couple of days.

If I do actually win the clubs would anyone be prepared to check online and confirm the spec for me please so that I can pay the seller in good time. I'd rather not keep him waiting longer than I have to if possible.

Will do. However, a serial number is needed and unfortunately the number has to be from a set that originated in N. America. If the set is from the U.K., you will need someone from the U.K. to look it up.

Thank you for the offer but as you point out the clubs are from the UK so I guess I'll have to wait for Tuesday and call Ping.
