Rbz fw vs Rbz stage 2 fw

I game the original rbz 3w(non tour) with an ad dj8x. I'm getting a pre-season itch to give a stage 2 head a go with the same shaft as a few friends that have the stage 2 think its a hotter/better trajectory/better feeling head. I generally use it more off the tee and have found her to be an absolute rocket launcher--almost as long as my driver-- with a nice mid traj/penetrating flight; but have no problems hitting it off the turf aside from the fact that its the non-tour head and slightly oversized.

Interested for some solid WRX feedback from those that have experience with both heads. Thanks fellas, appreciate it!

I also bought the original RBZ in a tour 14.5 head and put a pro launch blue shaft in it. It's an absolute monster off the tee but I don't get nearly enough carry off the deck. I bought a stage 2 tour in 14.5 a few months ago and have had a chance to hit it a few times at the dome ranges here in NY. It's a very small sample size and off mats but I wasn't getting any more height with the stage 2 than I was with the original. It may be a shaft length issue as I haven't cut the stage 2 down yet and it's about an inch and a half longer than the original RBZ so I would assume my swing is much flatter but so far I haven't justified the purchase.

I play an RBZ stage 1- 3, 3hl and hybrid. Last night I ordered a stage 2, 5 to try it out. I'm ganna paint it the same as a stage 1 if I find it usefull. I'll let you know in a couple days about performance!

(According to TM, every single year better players should gain 10 yards so I'm looking forward to hitting my 3 wood 320 in a couple years!!!

I'm not sure quite how to describe it but the stage 2 head has a much more solid feel at impact. I used to game the original RBZ and after hitting the stage 2, the original had an almost hollow feel in comparison. The stage 2 heads are also smaller than the original so if you're looking for a forgiving club to use off the tee, the original is 25 cc bigger than the non-tour stage 2 and 30 cc bigger than the stage 2 tour. That being said, I use my 3 wood mostly off the tee and have had no regrets on switching to the stage 2.
