After any extended break, what is your routine to prepare to get back into form for tournament play? Thanks in advance and best wishes going forward in your career.

Hey Scott,

Have you had to make any swing changes or compensations due to your baseball grip? Do you feel it allows you to do certain things easier and or better than interlocking or overlapping?
never had to compensate. it allows me to do wht i need to do and the others dont

Do your kids think it's cool that Dad's a Professional Golfer on the PGA Tour or do they just see you as Dad? Any of your kids show a real interest in golf and say they might like to play as a Pro?

Get well, man! Miss you out here

Thanks for joining us Scott!

Im curious, while most of us would do anything for a shot to be on the PGA tour...what have you found is the hardest thing about the grinds of being on tour?
traveling and being away from the family and finding a consistent life routine

HI Scott,

Could you comment on the trend of drivers getting longer and longer from the OEM's. How long is your driver? What is standard on tour? How long would you suggest a mid single digit handicap player play their driver length at?

Thanks!
they do it for marketing to say more distance and i dont think thats always the case cuz the longer the driver the harder to hit in the sweet spot. 44.75 i would say between 44-45

Hey Scott,
Thanks for answering our questions. Are there any clubs you're currently testing to see if the can make it in the bag? Are there any clubs in your bag that might be on the chopping block?
Thanks for answering the first question ... How much time do you spend working on fitness and flexability ? I have been working with my coach and physio every 3 weeks but I find it hard to do it at home as I lack motivation and get lazy. Do you have any thoughts or want to share what you work on?

Two questions if you don't mind. 1st do you feel practicing putting will help someone who's problem is green reading not the mechanics of the stroke? 2nd Do you think as I do the networks exaggerate how far you guys hit your drives to create viewer interest?
you should look in to Aimpoint it will help you. sometimes they exaggerate and sometimes they really dont. as a viewer its hard to know temp wind elevation and up and downhill. all that plays a roll

Really cool of you to take the time and answer some questions on here Mr. Piercy! Thank you!

There are so many great golfers on the PGA Tour, the Web.com Tour, even top level amateurs. What are one or two key things that you think separates a PGA Tour pro from a great golfer on the Web.com Tour or top level amateur that just can't quite make the jump to the next level yet?

What advice would you give a good amateur player on how to improve their game?

Hi Scott,

I believe everyone struggles somewhat with this game, whether he is Touring professional or a high handicapper. How do you keep yourself from getting frustrated when things go a bit south?

Thanks for your time!

Sean

Do you have any specific swing thoughts that you use during competition? Do those thoughts change throughout the course of the day or do you have go-to "thoughts"? Or nothing at all - just think target and strategy.
i usually have a few key things i can go to but sometimes i have to improvise!

not really sure cuz i dont generally take extended breaks. you just have to sharper your game on the range and on the course

Another one: what do you do to handle the nerves of a big tournament when you're playing well / in contention? Any go-to tips or thoughts that help you calm down and focus on the shot at hand?
