Almost All Nike and Best set up I have ever had.

So I believe I have finally put my entire bag together. It has taken me some time to find the right shafts and heads for the woods but I have created my favorite set up and I could not be happier with how it turned out.

 

I wanted to show the GoflWRX Community my beg since I am extremely proud of the set up. It works perfectly for me right now. However, I am always tinkling and there always room for some improvement. Shafts for the driver and fairway woods are always open for discussion and I would appreciate any recommendations anyone might have.

Nike wedges will be the next bag adjustment.
Those VR Forged wedges are unreal and are definitely being considered.

Went to the range today and it felt good. Swing is bit off but thats just rust.

The clubs are performing just how I like them...when I put the right move on it.

Those 2.0 performance fairways look super and nice, and of course plays good as well when I demo'd them.

I'm not a big fan of my original covert 5 wood FWY, I like the shaft in it, I want just the head of the 2.0.

Still looking for a head only deal for the 5 wood, but its still new that I can't find any on eBay. Maybe ill try the "WTB" forum.

I have experience with both of them in drivers.. I used the BB 6x in my old i20 and now a DI 6x in my anser.. and BY FAR the 6x is more stable and gives me a more consistent ball flight. The 6x Is tipped .5" tho and it works perfect for my ss which is 110-115.

Sweet bag - have a similar one [Nike fanboy fist bump]. Think I'm going to swap my 1.0 Covert 3W Tour for the 2.0 Performance now. Was curious if you chose it b/c it's slightly more forgiving than the Tour version?

Fwiw, I really like the Toe Sweep (56, 60) and Covert 2.0 Forged (4-AW). If you haven't hit those irons, you may be surprised. Best I have ever hit the golf ball and the AW is really deadly, even though it's very forgiving. Was leaning Pro Combo until I hit 'em.

[color=#000000]2) adjustability wasn't a big factor for me in fairway woods[/color]
[color=#000000]3) the head shape in the performance, in my opinion, set up to the ball perfectly (both on the tee and fairway)[/color]

[color=#000000]The pro combos are amazing. I have heard good things about the covert 2.0 irons. I have not hit them yet but just from looking at them, the shape is a bit bulky for me. I love the look of the pro combos. The only complaint I have is that 3-5 iron make a somewhat clicky sound on the pro combo model I have. But the new version has taken care of that sound. [/color]

Wedges...maybe one day. But the VR forged wedges are calling my name.[/size]

I will say that as much as I like to tinker with my wood shafts, I am that committed to my Project X 6.5 shafts in my pro combos. I tried x100's but went directly back to project x 6.5.

When I used to work for a gold club manufacturer, I would hit iron after iron that had KBS c-tapers in them. About a year ago when I got fitted, I was told that it was a dead lock between PX 6.5 and KBS C-Taper X numbers wise. I chose the PX because I liked looking down at the chrome compared to the satin finish of the c-tapers...and more importantly, the feel was better.

Both are very good shafts, I just prefer the PX.

So I am in tinkering mode, and I have decided between 3 different driver shafts.
This shaft is for my Nike Covert 2.0 Tour driver.

1) Diamana Blueboard 63x (Current Shaft)
2) Graphite Design Tour AD DI 6x
3) Kuro Kage Tini Silver 60x

Anyone have any opinions or preferences??

What made you decide to go with the 4-PW with the added wedge vice 3-PW and a 54/60? Did you strengthen your 4i? Strongly considering it and I'm not sure about the gap from 5W to 4i. Awesome set up though and looking at Nikes for the next iron/wedge set that I get.

[/quote] thats what i did i had the titleist wedges but then i switched to nike best switch of my life
