Very nice! I got a limited Mr Beasley from a few years back while playing mini tours and it seems to always creep it's way back into my bag. So glad they brought him back!!

Actually, Guerin Rife (the original owner of Rife putters) used that logo (it's a "GR" for his initials) before Scotty used the circle T logo.

This putter will be released in limited numbers... About 300 I believe. It's actually larger then the old Beasley... Closer to the size of the Barbados. I heard it will be offered in face balanced and toe hang versions.

From the tv show family affair in the 60's, Mr. Beasley was the name of Buffy's doll. I forget my kid's names sometimes but I remember that, sheesh.

Mr Beasley was a friend of Guerin's when Guerin Rife was involved I the company. He passed away and Guerin named the putter after his friend.

I have the Rife Aussie Mallet in my bag and a Abaco wanting to take it's place. Rife mallets are solid sticks. I also noticed that Guerin Rife is now selling his new line at Golfworks.

Guys, I wanted to add a review here for those who are Mr. Beasley and/or Rife / Mallet fans/users. This putter is one of the top feeling putters I have ever used.

The design is simple and classic. The putter is as exactly as pictured above. I received mine before it even hit the website. Price tag is outrageous of course at $399, but in my opinion well worth it. I have played two rounds with this in Las Vegas at The Legacy and have shot two rounds of 74. In that time period I have made 7 birdies and should have made a few more. I missed a few from inside 10 ft. due to a poor stroke/alignment.Part of the problem is I am playing on slow greens as it is hot/and even humid in Las Vegas and the greens could not have been running more than 7 on the stimp. I left several long range putts short but would classify these as user error. I had been putting for several days hundreds of putts from 15-20 ft. on my carpet, so clearly the greens were much slower. I could not get myself to hit it to the hole the first nine holes. Once I got used to the putter a bit things have fallen in line.

What I like about this :

Alignment is simple
the putter works well with my sbst putting stroke
when you hit the putt where you are supposed to on the face it rolls well and the feel is fantastic - very close to my Scotty GOLO 5S (center shafted) in the feel department.
I believe they say the putter is mostly face balanced which my scotty is not.
I like the black w/red tip iomic putter grip they are using, while it is not oversized it is a good feeling grip
It also comes with a nice headcover which is gray and red and has a magnet.

The only negative is when you mishit it -it feels awful and reminds me of why I got rid of my Rife Barbados. I'm not sure if my miss is on the top of the club but not hitting the grooves in or close to the center leaves an awful feeling.

I would give this club an A and is going to be my current gamer for awhile at least and I have the following putters :

Yes Eleanor - bought this new for $40 and might be the best putter in the stable. Took her out three weeks ago, had 7 one putts in the first 9 .
Taylormade Ghost mallet - again a great putter - used him for a year or two and made many putts - good combo with the claw
Scotty Golo5S - in black with superstroke flatso ultra grip - good combo love the shape and putter
Ping Nome - the original one - I have a big flatso grip on this and make a ton of putts with this mallet
