I played nine holes on Friday with the platinum heads up against the Pro V1. The platinum won hands down in every aspect of the game. It was very windy and around 60*.

Played nine on Saturday with the black. Also very windy and colder in the low 50's. The platinum launches a lot higher then the black.

I will be doing more testing next week when the weather gets better. It's going to snow tomorrow.

All in all these balls are light years ahead of the 20Xi balls.
I love everything about the platinum except that it launches pretty high. I'd love to get some of those protos that PURE got his hands on.

I think I was getting more with the platinum. It was hard to tell because I didn't hit them side by side. I will next week when the weather gets better.

10 rounds testing the RZN Black against the One Tour D and the Original Prototype RZN. The spring course conditions have been wet, cold and very windy. I surprised just how close the overall performances are between the RZN Black and the One Tour D. I've been playing the One Tour D since it first came out. Still playing it. Incredibly similar feel and sound off the putter + green side responsiveness + very similar piercing ball flight into the wind. The RZN Black is however slightly longer. And I preferred the feeling of the putter which surprised me. Anyone who's been waiting for a One Tour D replacement, the new RZN Black is as close as it gets. The only thing I would change is the color and size of the red numbers. I still visually prefer all black numbers and lettering.

RZN Black is a great ball and really deep. It makes the 20XI-X look like a Mojo or a Top Flite. RZN Blacks are drop-stop/one-stop depending on the trajectory. Sound is impeccable. Won't say they are "better" than ProV1x because they're really on the same level, with nuanced difference. ProV1x has a little heavier feel but not in a bad way. Just different.

The distance will be your biggest adjustment - these things pop. Honestly, it led to some unforced par 3 errors in my last tourney. You've been warned.

I am pleasantly surprised with the feel of the RZN Platinum. It is a much better feeling ball than those terrible 20XIs.

Am I the only one that feels the Platinum's about a club shorter than other premium balls?

Does anyone know if the RZN Black is longer than the Platinum while preserving the same feel?

The Black is one of the longest balls I've ever played - The Platinum is one of the best feeling balls I've ever played.
What I can say is that the Black does not feel as good as the Platinum, it feels just harder, heavier and clicky - what I kinda like and hate at the same time, I know it sounds stupid but I like the heavier feel of the Black over the Platinum. The other attributes for the "category" feeling are going to the Platinum.
But the performance of the Black is cruel (meant in a good way) like regiwstruk already mentioned you need to adapt your play because it's so long.

I had a chance to play the RZN Black after playing 20XI for two years. RZN is significantly better on feel, sound off the club face, and stability in wind. Definitely my new gamer.

Was given a 2 ball trial sleeve of the platinum, and I could not begin to tell you how great this ball is. I usually play prov1x but I think IM going to switch it up. More impressed with the feel. Great greenside spin. All around a great ball

I've played the Blacks, Reds and Whites. Platinum are next to try.

So far the Blacks are the best balls for me. Pretty long off the tee, good feel off the irons, a little more run out (not a ton more) but solid feel on the putter. The Whites and Reds are good balls but I like the Blacks better all around.

Blacks are my 2014 gamer so far.
