Which makes little sense, being that the vast majority of Lambo's sold are Gallardo's which are much less expensive than an F430.

In my 'yout' in SW Philly, I always dreamed of a Corvette ZR1, like the dude on 90210 drove. In my 20's I would have chosen the Ferrari, no doubt. I can tell I'm getting old, 'cause my choice would be a Bentley or, better yet, a Rolls Royce Phantom. A nice flossy asphalt-chewer.

I'd take the Ferrari. I've seen a couple on the highway and would love to take one for a ride.

 

I'll have to settle for my '99 2.2 Vtec Prelude, at least I can open that up to it's potential... every morning on the way to work I take it to 110 entering the highway, lol. Not fast when comparing it to true sports cars but a good balance of fun to drive and fuel efficiency.

With the choices listed te easy choice is the Gallardo. Best value for a "super car". If I had to pick around these prices, I would have to go with the Porsche GT2. The car is an animal. Too much power for a car that light.

I'd take the Ferrari 430 Scuderia, the sleeker, slimmer, more powerful and performance-oriented version of the F430. In my opinion, the Scuderia is precisely what a Ferrari should be...a no-frills, race-bred rocket.

 

 

If I was ever in need of a more "practical" car (something I could carry a golf bag in), I'd go with the Alpina B7.

Oh yeah. that Z06 is my dream car. When I saw this thread I thought the z06 would be up there but it wasnt. Im going to own one of these one day. Right now Im diving a 02 WS6. Funny thing is the Z06 would spank most of those cars at a fraction of the cost.

 

My choice would be the Aston Martin though. If the Z06 was up there my vote would definately change.

Funny you picked both of those, I saw both over Labor Day weekend. I about crapped myself when I saw the Scuderia, was really surprised someone i my area (small town of 35k) had the pull to snag one (though we do have quite a nice crop of Ferrari's around).

unless going around corners was involved........ american cars may have huge engines and lots of grunt, but everyone knows if you want a serious sports car that handles on proper roads and is fun to drive you need to buy european...
