But it looks like the area with the Swoosh and MMProto engravings could be a hollow interior, and perhaps capped with Tungsten to bring weight back up. If I'm purely spit-balling that MM could stand for Multi-Material.

You could be right... Could be a Nike version of the 712U, Ping Rapture, Taylormade UDI etc

You know, it's funny how in the last year or so all of the American manufacturers are bringing these driving/hybrid irons out like it's something new and people are like wow! What a great club. Fact is, once again, they are late to the game here in America. The Japanese manufacturers, Srixon, Bridgestone, Mizuno and many other's have been making these clubs for many years. The American companies, I swear, I'm not saying their stuff isn't good or is junk (most of it is nice nowadays), but they are behind. Along with many other products.

^^^its just coming back. Driving irons were pretty popular 10-12 years ago (roughly????). They're just coming back with modern tech.

I can't wait to hear more about this, Tiger and Rory helping design and putting this into play next week would be cool to see. Interested to see if it hits the market. I want to see what else Nike is working on though...

I love the overall shape and look of the sole grind but, man, the Swoosh placement and medallion (or whatever it is) in the cavity look pretty bad to me. Nike usually nails it with this type of thing and 12 of my 14 clubs are Nike, but not a fan of this one. At least not the graphics/appearance.

Rory seems to be hitting it pretty darn flush based on the paint mark from his tee.

Since it's a proto. The medallion is there to not "show" the finished product. Or to hide it?

Might look radically different than the actual release product, if it ever comes to the public.
