It's been pretty well established that this ball and the Maxfli Tour Fire ball are exactly the same. The Tour Fire ball has been discontinued and is available for a lot less than the Burner TP ball. I did some pretty thorough testing of the Tour Fire w/ the E6+ and my usual ball the B330-S. The E6+ and the Tour Fire were pretty similar for me. The Tour Fire is no B330-S on approach shots or around the green but it's pretty good. Full shots tend to pitch a little forward as apposed to stopping or backing a little with the B330-S but very predictable and serviceable. Around the green the ball works pretty well for me. It does not have nearly as much spin as most top of the line tour balls but it's easy to predict what the ball will do and I can still get it close. It's a little bit firmer off the putter but it rolls good for me. The main reason I started using this ball was for less spin and more distance off the tee which it does very well. Oh, and to save a ton of money....I got 12dz for $10.99 each. Looks like GPP is sold out of them now......

I have used the TP for 4 rounds now and like it very much... I general thoughts are that it goes far and has a soft feel compared to other similar balls such as the Titliest NXT tour. I agree that it is a medium spin ball...not lot's of spin. I plan on keeping it in the bag for this year... Bob 6 hdcp.

Played it today, its okay, decently long, felt good off of the irons, but not very much spin

I gave this a couple of rounds recently as I'm looking to try to a ball that won't financially kill me but still perform a bit - a sleeve of ProV1s/Z-URS/HX Tour etc. costs about $15+ where I live.

 

The Burner TP was ok but didn't set my world alight.

Found the overall feel and performance a bit vague, it didn't seem outstanding in any departments just kind of average - didn't have a great flight, super spin or anything that marked it out. Feel was soft, almost too soft for me.

 

I may have to take some out again for another go.

N.b. this is the first mid-price ball I've tried for a long while so can't compare with NXT Tour and the like. Preferred ball for me is HX Tour or Z-URS.

I played a slambo with this ball this weekend and it performed great for a cheaper ball. It was decent lenght and low spin off the tee, average for approach shots and chips, low spinning but not a top flight on pitches. It was good enough for me to shoot a 77 net 61 , and have us use 10 of my tee shots.

 

I'd rather buy mint used hx tours for 1.16 per ball though.
