Going back to past and I love it. Callaway should have never left the BB line it was the best in its day and now the new models will be the same awesome. Looking forward to trying one. The xhot range was great and performed, but BB is just something ppl will gravitate towards.

look forward to seeing this in person it's always hard for me to get a good idea of the headshape from pics. Love the warbird sole just brings back memories. And we all know the Warbird is coming back.

Looks great and brings back a lot of memories as I had all the Bertha drivers back in the day. Great, Biggest, etc.... I like everything about it in pics other than the slogan on the sole plate. I don't so much mind the sole plate badge, just not crazy about the slogan on it. You cannot argue with just don't put that on there.

That's what people forget about the Warbird sole. It worked extremely well. You could hit it off the deck, out of the rough, fairway bunker, whatever! It would just dig the ball out and if you caught it exactly right, you'd barely leave a divot!

Yes, I definitely like the throwback look with the modern touches on it. The profile looks nice and more pear shaped than previous, more rounded shapes. Too bad I didn't like the 2014 BB or BB Alpha at all, if not I might be more excited about this release.

What didn't you like about the new BBs? I only hit the BBA and it was ok for me. I didn't actually try it with the right shaft or outdoors so I really didn't get a complete feel for it. I def didn't like the feel of the optiforce. It felt hollow and dead to me. I got a RHT for my Tour Z and it feels pretty solid. Hopefully, the BBV is more like the RHT in feel.

Didn't like the stock shaft(s), look of the head behind the ball, and feel. They looked awesome in the pictures, but were quite a letdown when I tried them. The BB was a little bit better, but the Alpha just didn't work for me. Either way, both felt completely dead. The X2 Hot Pro I thought was far superior in terms of looks, feel, and performance, and if I didn't get the Bio Cell Pro, I'd have gotten an X2HP. Even the Razr Fit and RHT looked and felt better to me than the BBs. but you know how I love the RHT, so that will always the benchmark. Glad you finally got one to try.

I'm wondering how much the actual club will look like this one. I have the feeling they are giving us a sneak peak with just technology hidden under badges or whatever. Should be interesting. You guys ever see when they have pictures of the "new model" mustang or whatever. They have bits and pieces of it that are real and some fake to not give away too much. I'm curious and I like the throwback look. I still have an original big bertha. I wonder how I'd hit that thing today.....hmmmm

I might be in the minority here, but i don't like the looks. The badge is awful. Not a fan of the chevron on top. I like the clean look of the alpha & RFX. The sole does looks like the old GBB, but sole looks are pointless to me.

Chevron is just as much a part of the GBB legend as the face graphics to me. As is Sir Issac...back in all the old commercials!! So no issue there either..I don't look at the bottom while swinging.
