New Oakley divot tool

I just checked Oakley's Standard Issue website and I'm surprised they offer it. I can get this tool for $60. Still ridiculous, IMO.

Shoot, I may have my buddy buy a couple more of these now. He has an account with Oakley and can get this deal. My buddies in my weekly foursome would love having one. Thanks for the info!

$40 with an O-Matter account. Looks cool, still won't be buying one though for that price.

Yep anyone who is military or law enforcement can get it for that price as long as they sign up and send the required credentials to Oakley.

Ok used my Oakley divot tool for the first time and I gotta be honest, this thing blows. The open ring in the middle makes your thumb dig into the sides when your fixing ball marks.

The spring mechanism is cheap and flimsy, probably will break down at some point. Worst divot repair I ever bought. It is, though, extremely good looking. I'll probably sterilize it and use it to stir my drinks but as a divot tool, its lame.

Guys, save your money.

I have had a few people on the course comment on how cool it looks.
Not saying much for your game if they're commenting on how cool your divot tool is. And I'll stick to my original statement, which is my opinion, when saying it's insane paying $100 for a divot tool, but I have a serious question......Do you wipe your a** with fifties?
Lmfao. You don't know the guys I play with, they notice all the gadgets I show up with and always ask about them. As far as my game goes, let me know if you are ever in the Midwest, I'll be happy to show it to you in person:). A $100 for a divot tool is not a big deal really. This is the Wrx man, money is never a object when it comes to golf gear.
I'm known to be a gadget man.

My "club caddy" hangs from my cart, on a carabiner clip, a lot of questions are asked about my "Golf Winter Tees" when I whip them out on the course and especially the driving range.
Sounds like my stepdad's golf cart. I noticed he had a compass stuck on his golf cart one day, so I just had to joke about him venturing so far off the beaten path to find his ball that he needed a compass to get back to the fairway. I refer to people like that as gear geeks.
I carried a compass at one time. I used it to figure out the sun's position, ahead of time, when I would book a tee time...
Useless endeavor!
Not to mention: Awaste of time. :-)

I don't see how anyone could even entertain the idea of spending a quarter of that price on a tool that repairs ball marks. Simply insane to spend $100.
Agreed...however, not much more ridiculous than the Scotty Cameron ball marker/alignment tool from a few years ago.

The frogger hop-it is the best tool in my opinion.
Outside of GolfWRX, the Frogger is the equivalent that I suggest to everyone asking about mine. At Golftown, the Frogger is cheaper, in the end. (No shipping cost)

100 bucks for a divot tool????? even Scotty Cameron thinks that's outlandish and overpriced.
No, he doesn't.

He just can't believe he did not think of it first ... with a collectible cover.

You can find them on ebay from time to time but they demand a hefty price on there. It's the coolest ping tool I have ever seen for sure.

the anser name will always be there...

putters... at least.

My 2013 irons are awesome... but I doubt they make a 2015 set... or another Driver/fw/hybrid line.

So if they made a tool, it would make sense to me at least, to put the anser name on it

I like the Anser line too but Ping has said they were not going to continue using this name, outside of their putter line of course. Maybe they will produce a premium Rapture divot tool for $250....

I absolutely love my Oakley tool and it has not given me any issues as of yet. I had mine in play since March. With the discount I bought three more for each member in my foursome since they loved mine so much. They each will get one for their birthdays. They only thing I wish this repair tool had was a ball marker attached to it.
