Dual Shoulder Strap for Staff Bag - What and Where to Get

Similar to what PGA caddies are using

Since I never walked the course, I've been using my staff bag to allow more compartment/space. Though at times, I have to walk from the parking lot to the club house carrying the bag with the single strap that comes with the bag.

I saw on TV some PGA caddies are adding additional strap so they can carry it like stand/carry bag. Where can I get this?

I bought the IZZO dual strap that can be velcro/attached to the bag, but that would requires the elimination of the original shoulder strap, otherwise I'm left with 3 straps.

Appreciate your help. Any pics would be great as well.

Izzo used to make The Loop, which is what the caddies always used as an additional strap. They are hard to find now. They worked great.

The Loops are no longer made unfortunately... I too would like to find the red strap that all PGA tour caddies seem to have. Surely someone on this site knows we can find one!

I went through this same search about a year ago with no luck. I'm glad there is someone else looking for the same thing. I noticed in some of the bag pics at the time that the straps being used had a Sun Mountain logo on them so I contacted Sun Mountain about the dual straps. They knew nothing about the dual straps even with the picture.

What I don't understand is why they do not make the Loop straps anymore. This would not he a bad product to create and market...

I'm in the process of looking for one also and can't seem to find one. I know exactly what you guys mean!!! I see it on the the staff bags with the tour caddies and it seems to be a common thing. I don't see why they are so hard to find or get.

Theres really no demand for them anymore. When I was growing up playing jr golf, everyone carried a ping bag. Well those only came with one strap so we either got the izzo dual strap or some had the loop. Now all stand bags come with two straps so there isnt any real market for it other than a couple hundred caddies maybe. People dont carry a staff bag anymore, instead it goes on a pull cart which eliminates the demand.

I still stay the old izzo dual strap was more comfortable than any of the straps on bags today.
