24 hours for a fully done and colored sleeve.... Shoulder to wrist.... Sounds long to you??

And you tell me man... The pic is there... Does the work look like crap? The price is right because the guy likes one client a day... Easy to manage
I'm not trying to talk trash on it, it looks good enough but I'm admittedly not a fan of biomech work, to me it's one small step up from tribal haha.

24 hours for a black and gray sleeve does sound like a long time, especially for something that looks rather simple for themist part as far as detail goes. I've got both sleeves done, full color, and the right one took 14 hours total. He's $150/hour, but when he works that fast, and does such solid work, you really get what you pay for.

I will gladly promote my artist, his name is Aaron Coleman from immaculate art.

That's not all of it obviously, but for example, the tiger I posted took just under 2 hours from start to finish. Outline, color, everything. Roses and tiger.
Ahhh... And now I understand... Won't be black and gray when done... Will be yellows/reds and some whites if he can manage... ( Chiefs colors )...

And the portion he did covered up a giant sun smoking a joint... So I think I left out a couple of important details...

He covered up oranges and reds ..l took him a while... So the next 15/16 hours will do the upper shoulder and entire lower arm... So right on pace... Although he might be quicker if he didn't draw on... He uses markers of some type and draws everything, then tattoos... Think maybe 5/12-6 hours total were needle work...

Love your work, not a huge fan of cartoon like stuff... ( hence the cover up ) but your guy does good stuff... He gets the colors to stand out... We'll see with mine as I think pinpointing the places for color will determine a lot of the final product..

Great stuff so far guys!

Here's mine taken after it was just done,

The latin inscription is remember to live / remember life and the initials in the middle are those of my godfather that passed away in the Tsunami of 2004. Had the initials done about 9 yrs ago just after it happened and then decided to get them re-done as they had faded (tip never get tattooed after many many beers the colour won't hold!) and get the inscription around it as they looked lonely on there!

Am going to get the other arm done with a candy skull and momento mori (remember we all die). I don't have any religious beliefs (each to his own) and this just seems to be a good life motto to live by, life is precious and it's soon gone!

the lettering with the traditional shaking hands and sparrow isnt actually backwards, it says LFFL meaning Lawless Forever Forever Lawless. Its my last name, and now my wife's too. Ive also got our oldest daughters name on the inside of my right wrist in traditional tattoo font, and on the back upper left arm, a sparrow with my 3 month old daughters name in a banner. Traditional style. ALso have a crimson ghost (misfits) tattoo on my left bicep, have some filler left on that arm.

Chest piece is one where I wish I had a good pic. Its an anotomical sacred heart that has a crown of thorns and raven wings. The heart has stitch marks all over it, and the banner says RISE FROM RUIN. First tattoo I got, its taken from the chorus to a band I was(am) really in to.

Great stuff man! Lots of color! I'm not a heavy color guy... Like blacks and grays with specs of colors... Your guy does GREAT work man... I'm eager to get this sleeve finished... Got the underside of my bicep and all the shoulder/back work to redo.... ( previous guy was going way too small so it looks crowded... Brandon has his hands full to complete the total coverup.... He will have covered 3 Tattoos with all the work before it's done )

Great, great stuff man!

Fore_life that's an impressive set of tattoos. I'm sure a great deal of time, money, and energy have gone into the designs. I'm really fond of the 'Clipper Ship' as that is the mascot of my Alma Mater.

I really like the artwork but I am truly interested in the story behind these tattoos. I have to assume that a great deal of thought goes into building a tattoo of these proportions.

Direct,

I'm walking through the supermarket yesterday when I literally bump into a 70 year old man sporting two full sleeve tats and a ZZ Top-like beard. The gent was one cool cat. A genuine article.

They do fade over time. The following measly, scrawny, tat is circa 1976 from the Copenhagen waterfront. And has an interesting sidebar. There was another fellow, a rather large burly gent, getting a LARGE Harley Davidson tat on a rather massive forearm. Well the "artist" left the second "D" out of the Davidson. When the rather large man noticed he was getting a Harley Davison tattoo it got real ugly. To the point where the shop was totally trashed the "artist" taken to the hospital and the customer to jail.

I just got this in April, my first and probably only tattoo. The pic is from 5 minutes after it was completed so it's pretty swollen. Two of my cousins passed away way too young. The first was 14 years ago, he was a big time cyclist and was training for a national race, 16 at the time. A car hit a deer and the deer hit him and killed him. A really freak accident. Anyway, the bicycle is for him and the tree is the tree they planted to honor him. My other cousin passed away February 1st of this year. Another freak thing, playing pickup hockey with his buddies he had a heart arrhythmia which lead to cardiac arrest and passed away at 24. His nickname was Goose, so I got the goose in flight, which I think turned out great. They both passed away doing what they loved most, so I take comfort in that.

Some of you guys have some impressive work done.
