I kept wondering why so many of them are going left - apparently TRYING to go left? Is it a dogleg? Clearly some are badly hooked - they didn't like the push/fades either though.

This looks like the 10th hole. They likely reverse the order for the tournament since the par 5, 1st hole would be a backlog off the tee as people wait for the green to clear trying to go for the green on their second shot.

The 10th is a long, sharp dogleg left.
