Most comfortable golf shoes I have ever worn

Recommended Posts

Recently bought a pair of Footjoy m project shoes - mostly cuz they were like $55 bucks new on ebay.

Great purchase. After three rounds in these things i can safely say they're the most comfy shoes i've worn on the course. Not much buzz around these shoes so i just thought i'd share. If you find some cheap i highly recommend you pick em up.

have you ever worn footjoys before? what is the fit? same?

I'd love this answered as well. Looks like a comfy shoe but I got scared off by the peeps who were saying that they had to buy this shoe in a size 1-2 sizes smaller than their normal shoe--even other footjoys.

they size the SAME as footjoy icons, and there are crazy deals around (like $39 crazy)...enjoy em!

I have always found footjoys to be comfortable for me extremely wide feet, I can go half a size smaller with footjoy than other brands because of their wide fitting. I have also recently been buying Puma which are also real comfy. I prefer non spike soles due to lightness and comfort and Puma has the best range for that style of shoe imo.

The old contour series was always super comfortable.. But once I went to a biom... I was done. Bought my son some project m's though and he likes them

i just bought 2 pair of these shoes for $59 each.
always have worn fj contours and got the same size i wore in the contours.

I'd be interested to see if you feel the ridge under your toes from the lack of a spike supporting the toe of the shoe compared to your contours.

Yes i have several pairs. They're all comfortable to me. I love my Icons - nothing looks better with pants. The main difference is the flexibility in the m projects. You feel like the shoe will flex and move with your foot. Whereas the Icons/sports will hold your foot to the shoes form. The Classical footjoys are much heavier and more more stable feeling. But if you want comfort the Mprojects are the way to go.

I have the spiked mproject and i could not feel any pressure points from the spikes in any part of my foot. I tried to feel for that but didn't have any problems.

Interesting. Mine felt like the toe was pointing down, with a ridge under my toes/balls of my feet. I must be crazy

I'm wearing the footjoy dryjoy casuals right now and they are great. Very comfortable and good traction...I have them in black, looking to grab a white pair also. Haven't played in a real rainy situation yet in them but have played in mornings when the grass is pretty wet and they definitely keep my feet dry. Kinda pricey but I think it is justified.

I'm a bit of a shoe whore and have approximately 15 pairs of golf shoes at the current time. Nothing comes close to fitting me as well as FJ Icons I've owned several pairs and they are always excellent. I bought a pair of DNA's and absolutely hated them. I wore them twice and then gave them to my dad. The PUMA Faas spikeless shoes are very comfortable for a tennis shoe style golf shoe. As for traction, nothing compares to the Tiger Woods shoes in my opinion.

Might start wearing them to work!

I'm with you on this one. I also picked up a pair of the SuperLites just to try out since they are cheap, and they're also awesome!
