What is the longest iron in your bag?

My 3i in my Vulcan set is 20* and is pretty easy to hit. Before that I played 21* 3i. No real difference in distance for me and I hit them virtually the same height.

Depends on the set, but generally a 4 iron and then a 20-21º hybrid. 5 iron is where my confidence stops. 4 iron is a little more iffy, but I'll generally roll the dice with it over a 4 hybrid. Can depend on time of year. Late fall I'll put the 20 and 23 degree hybrids in the bag. Easier to swing with all the extra clothing, for example.
Or if I have an injury or something, I'll use the hybrids.

most of the time 6 iron but sometimes i carry the 5 iron too.
not because i am long with the irons, i just suck with med/long irons.

3-iron in the gamer in signature. I am not one to separate the brothers. I would play a 2-iron had the set come with one.

Silly season setup is Ping i5 4-PW + G5 2-iron and G5 19° hybrid.

I put both in to test them out and the 2-iron is longer, straighter but lower hitting. I got a hang of the 2-iron and hit it pretty good.

4i s55 going to a 20* i20 hybrid...I tried to replace the 4i with a G20 4i and I hit nothing but hooks! Same shaft and all...smh

3 iron that is 21 degrees. I do not use it often, but use a 4 iron for tee shots on two holes at the local course. If it is into a stiff wind I will use the 3 iron. The next is a 19 hybrid & then a 3 wood. Have to watch the hybrid, it can be a hook machine. This might be the main reason I've stayed with the 3 iron & not replace it with a hybrid.

My longest is my 4-iron, which is a Mizuno MP-64.

I prefer the versatility of a 5w over a 2i and I recently swapped out my 3i for a 52* wedge. Those two decisions just seem to promote better scoring.

If and when I need to slap that 4i at or a little beyond 200, I know it's there. It's a rare shot though.

3i. 205-220yd shots from the fairway, occasionally hit it off the tee on certain holes but use it much more from the fairway. if I pull an iron for an extra wedge, I pull my 4i...3i is always in the bag.

2 Iron if Mizuno Fli-Hi counts as an iron. 3 otherwise, just never felt comfortable with a hybrid.

I just ordered a 4 JPX 850 Forged 4 iron. I was using an Adams DHY, but felt the JPX would be more consistent. The 4 iron has a loft of 23* which is really a 3 iron.

4 iron. I tried to get along with 2 and 3 iron, but my ball flight and spin are just too low with those even though I have a high ss. On days where I'm really off, I struggle to hit my hybrids straight and can duck hook the living daylights out of them. Contemplating getting utility irons to replace my hybrids.

5 iron because the iron set I bought was 5-pw. I go 24* then 21* hybrid after the 5 iron.

But now that I have changed to the 850 forged....A 4 iron is back in the bag! These are a blast to hit!
