If I like a Rocketballz 3 Wood then....

I game the 1st generation Rocketballz RBZ 3-Wood, Stock Stiff Shaft. I've tried other 3-woods over the years but can't hit them nearly as consistent off the tee and off the fairway as my RBZ.

 

For those of you who love your RBZ 3-wood, what else have you found that compares?

Honest answer, probably will rock a couple boats.

Love the RBZ off the tee, it was stupid long. Off the deck, hated it. Went completely back to my old school 'tour issue' (whatevs) R7 TP ST. It's not as long off the tee but works off the ground much better.

I went from stage 1 to 2, the HL version. Just as long and the sole was a bit less rounded so easier to hit off the desk. I have to tee the ball a bit lower as the face seems a bit shallower but no issues hitting off the tee. Still as draw biased as the original I have to open up the face at address but even with that still haven't found another 3/4 wood I hit as high and consistent.

The issue with the RBZ was always off the deck. I didn't really care for the shallower face of the stage 2 and jetspeed fairways.
The aeroburner fwy is kinda a happy medium between them for me

XHot Pro 3Deep at 14.5* playing 42.5 " done it for me! I absolutely loved my OG R'ballz but won't even look at it now. It's stashed in the garage hid in the back of a bag of culls!!

Nice try lol, but I'll leave it stashed as I looked today to see that it was still there while digging round for a 5 wood!! I'll keep it for s back up IF needed! Best of luck with your new set up! Man up ho a lot of equipment, thought I was bad!! ?

Jetspeed tour issue is your answer. Very playable off the tee and deck, and LONG. You can pick up heads from Niblick for dirt cheap in the configuration you want and with the amount of hotmelt desired. I love mine and have ended my fairway wood search.

Did you ever have a chance to compare this to the OG RBZ tour issue vs. OG RBZ vs. non tour jetspeed?

I've tried the OG RBZ and while it was a bomber off the tee, I never felt comfortable with it off the deck. Jetspeed prototype is totally different and very multi-functional.
