Modern equivalent to ZZ Lite Shaft?

I'm looking to pick up a ping eye 2 set and was wondering if there is a current steel shaft that is close to the ping zz lite just in case I find a good deal on a set that has different shafts in them. I play DG x100 in my current irons, but the eye 2 head/zz lite shaft combo works great for me. I'm a little concerned that any other shaft in those heads will throw off the what feels to me like the perfect balance between shaft/head. I typically don't like light iron shafts but for some reason those just work with eye 2's. Thanks

The zz65 is supposed to be an updated version of the zz-lite.

Also the DG lite x100 would be very similar.

Thanks for info guys. I don't think I could go zz65. They are even lighter the zz lite. DG x100 is a good possibility.

I've also read that the TT lite is a close substitue. In fact I've seen quite a few eye 2 sets that have zz lite shafts with one or two TT lite shafts mixed in from what I assume was a replacement situation at some point. I appreciate the help! Trying to get a few ideas to try out on the cheap with an eye 2 head i have already.

I played with a friends Eye 2 Green Dot set Sunday due to my x forged irons needing repair and they performed so well that I need to get a set as a backup. The first set of irons I ever bought with my own money were z model/zing knock offs and I played the best golf ever during that time. For some reason those old ping heads at address allow me let go mentally and just swing free and naturally. It's crazy. I'm more focused on what type of shot to play and almost never have any swing thoughts in my head other than let it rip.

I'm assuming TT Lite is in reference to an older TT Lite and not the TT Lite XL?

TT Lite and the TT Lite XL version are basically same. The XL version just has a longer butt section (which all gets chopped off anyway unless you are building +1.5" or something).

Another option is the old Dynamic Lite. They have a steep frequency slope and the longer clubs play soft to flex but the short irons don't.

The Ping ZZ Lite shafts are known for being stiff to flex.

Hi,

Was hoping to start up this conversation again. I have a set of Ping Eye 2 BeCu irons in need of shaft replacement. It appears the TT Lite XL was a close replacement for the ZZ lite shaft. The TT lite has limited availability now. Is there a currently available close replacement?
