For those of you have that have had these awhile, how is the creasing particularly in the toe box?

I'd really like to know the answer to this question as well. Considering picking up a pair this weekend... The severity of creasing in the toe box is somewhat of a deal breaker for me. I feel like the LC3's had the tendency to crease badly and the upper material was too soft. Are the LC4's the same?

 

I've played about 5-8 rounds in mine. Walked one round, and the rest I was in the cart. I'm with you guys, I hate creasing. The creasing in the LC3 was so bad I would use shoe trees. Not even all my dress shoes have shoe trees, but that's how much I hated seeing the creases. I will say so far on my LC4 I haven't stuffed anything in the shoe to prevent creasing. I will try to take a picture for you guys so I can show what they look like after the usage thus far. I've stated in another thread, the only thing I hate about the shoes is the material of the tongue. I have the white and grey pair, and clean them after every round. The only thing I cant get back to white is the soft fabric that is on the tongue. I need a dark pair now.. :fool:

My ID LC4's showed up today. Look great, I need to try them on and walk around because I quickly tried the left shoe on and the left foot felt kinda big. I hope that's not the case, I ordered an ID pair of the LC3's last year in my normal size and they came in a half size too big (even though they were marked correctly as 11.5).

 

Either way I think they look awesome, in my opinion this is the way the white pair should look stock.

Love the internet! That is the exact set up I had just built, except with black spikes. That is clean!

 

PS - I don't feel bad about asking for help with this. Keeping up with all the Nike threads is tricky this year

Really digging those wolf grey/beta blue models, but just picked up the navy/photo pair. I'm interested in seeing the wolf grey/black/volt models, because they sound like something I was going to make with Nike ID.

I cannot escape the idea that Nike's current range of shoes has been designed by a demented 12 year-old. Perhaps they are very 'street', but making Rory look poorly dressed seems to me a bad way of looking after one of their bigger assets.

anyone having issues with their spikes wearing down. I have only used mine for 4 rounds and they are getting quite worn to the point the holes where you put the spike tool in is getting worn out.

As someone who values comfort but also style and pleasant aesthetics, I just don't get why sport-specific shoes must be so ugly. Just think of how hard it would be to match these shoes with your regular clothes or to look professional if you had to wear these to work as an emergency. I like to stick with black and white. Colors can be ok, but in general, I would stay away from this particular pair.

There is this awful notion that golf is uncool and shoes like these only reinforce those bad stereotypes.

Agreed! It must be troll day on this thread. It kills me how the boring guys always have to make a comment on the Nike apparel and shoes. We get it!!! Nike doesn't appeal to you boring fellas. Go buy Peter Millar and Footjoys and don't even visit the Nike threads.
