WTS- Rocketbladez Tour Issue "N" irons Aldila VS Proto, Tour Issue Adams CMB w/ Aldila VS Proto 100

Just a few items up for grabs today. Trades are welcomed. More pics are available upon request.

 

1) First is a set of Rocketbladez Tour issue irons. These are the smaller "N" version heads. With Aldila VS Proto 85-X flex shafts and Lamkin blue I line grips. 4-PW and 3 iron head only is included. The shafts were soft stepped at build and are +1" in length (5 iron = 39"). Normal wear. Great shape. No abuse. Asking $550 OBO.

 

2) Next is a set of Adams CMB Tour issue irons with Aldila VS Proto X flex 100g shafts. They are equipped with white ionic grips. The shafts were soft stepped at build and are +1" in length (5=39"). Normal wear. Great shape. No abuse Asking $450 OBO.

 

3) Last I have a Matix Black Tie 7m3 driver shaft with a TM tip. Stiff flex. Measures exactly 43.75" and comes with a white Iomic grip. Asking $90 OBO.

 

4) Motore Tour Spec hybrid shaft 8.8 stiff 39.75" TM tip $80 OBO

 

5) UST VTS Proforce shaft Stiff 42.25" TM tip $80 OBO

How will these shafts play in comparison to a px 6.5?

The shafts are soft stepped. Meaning they will play in between a stiff and extra stiff. The 6.5 is extra stiff I believe. They are also steel and these are graphite. I haven't hit them side by side to compare.

I have heard these play stuff to flex (like the recoils and steelfibers). That is word of mouth though. I haven't hit these exact shafts, but can confirm the recoils and steelfibers are a but stiffer than most steel shafts of the same flex code.

Are the lofts on the rocketbladez jacked up like retail tm? i.e. 44* wedge

They will play very similar to KBS Tour 120 stiff, but feel softer. I highly recommend as I have same setup.

I'll have to check the exact lofts and get back to you. They play more to normal lofts. Not jacked up

I have the 100x in my JPX irons. Definitely not whippy feeling. Steelfiber was a bit stout to flex, these are smoother. KBS or Nippon like feel, but with vibration dampening of graphite. My 100x are also soft stepped once.

Adams lofts:

4 iron: 23

6 iron: 29

8 iron: 38

PW: 46

 

Of course both sets are forged and can easily be bent.
