this has nothing to do with nike shoes, but nike socks. i wear swiftwick socks for golf and love them. this is basically for weekend wear. I wear nike dri-fit no show socks. both SX4449-001 (cushion) & SX4834-001 (half-cushion) and both run down to the back of my heel. since i would assume most here wear nike socks, what's your pair that doesn't ride down?

Well after going and buying both colorways of the Lunar Fires I returned to my hotel room and discovered that they left the damn tag thing on them and had to take them back up there to have them remove it.

 

Not sure why it didnt set off alarm but it didnt.

 

Well I took them to a different Golfsmith and had them removed and upon doing some looking around I came upon these TW14's!

 

They look amazing so I had to get them! Now im seeing they are a limited release so should I turn around and raise the price on them LOL.

 

But I ended up exchanging both pairs of Lunar Fires and getting these and some new apparel that I wanted more then shoes for right now.

No idea but the local store has them in.

 

Tried them on, very comfy. You're off the ground a tad bit with the soles being as they are.

 

On NDC, they're $140, in stores and online stores, they're $175.

 

Weird. I would off buy off NDC to save you like $30+.

How was the width? I never bought Max 90's because they were always so damn narrow.

 

I don't like how the swoosh blends doesn't identify the shoe. I saw them in person and they seem more narrow then the impact 2. A clone in built to the Impact Premiere. I did not try them on. I am waiting to see the white version.

 

Huh...I actually don't know how I missed that. Definitely a strange design choice for Nike as they usually love having the swoosh prominently displayed. Maybe in response to people saying the swoosh on the lc4 is too crazy?

They were around $130 with tax. Little more then I wanted to pay I tried to talk them down cause they are older model and stuff but wasnt happening but I just had to have them.

NCAA LC4's seem like a good marketing tool like FJ's customizable MyJoys were. All the designs are pretty cool except the Longhorns one, gross.

Yep, also, like someone else pointed out, the black ones have a black swoosh, it kind of makes them look super generic. I'm out on them as well. Thinking i'm going with the lunar force 1 for my black shoes to be worn with pants.

Did any of you guys purchase the Lunar Bandon 3? They LOOK like they'd be exceptional spring/fall/wet/cold weather golf shoes. I just wish I could find a pair under 150. I'll be near a nike outlet soon so i'm hoping I can get lucky with that.

Just talked to NIke chat, told them about the price error. They told me if I wanted to buy the shoe for $140 instead of $175, I said "sure, why not".

 

Snagged it for $140 plus tax.

 

Now time to get rid of old shoes. Haha.

The resellers jump all over the Jordans but these are maybe more popular with golfers wanting to actually wear them.

Anybody seen that Nike released the TW14 mesh in all black with gold accents at golfsmith? They never originally released this colorway before.

 

Saw these tonight. They had a 13 which was a bit too small. I may have pulled the trigger if they had a 14. Pretty comfy and pretty flat heel to toe drop.

Yes, they are awesome for nasty weather, your feet will be super dry and you won't be tip toe-ing around really wet/muddy areas. Main thing is to remember to wear higher socks (they rubbed the back of my ankles the one time I wore normal golf socks) but you'll have pants on so not a huge deal.

It also doesn't have the college logo in the medial side. Just a swoosh, I don't mind if it does have or not, but colors are nice.

 

Also does not have the school logo in the sole like other schools.

Just ordered some ID's and was disappointed that burnt orange wasn't an option....these just got ordered and I'll return the IDs.

Hey Les, I wouldnt be surprised if those ended up having the logo on them. If you look at the florida pair, it shows the swoosh from that angle, but if you look at other angles of the florida pair you can see the shoe has the gator logo. So, maybe?

How are the AM90's running size wise? Same as LC4 or same as FI Bermuda? I'm a half size bigger in the Bermudas.
