When does Callaway Golf Preowned have their "good" sales

Curious if anyone here when Callaway golf preowned has their best sales Memorial Day, July 4^th etc., or if they are haphazard in their great sales.

Pretty random as far as I remember. Some of the best are the BOGO deals that are random and don't forget their Ebay store. I find lower prices on there as opposed to the web portal.

I think they have their Clearance sale in September where they load up the clearance section and then drop the price by 5% every day.

I have noticed lately around any holiday, with fathers day coming up I would wait for that one for sure.

I've noticed also that sometimes when their sales are running, not all products are available. Been looking for wedges, last weekend the Mack Daddy wedges were 25% off, now that the sale is over they also have Mack Daddy "heavy" versions up for grabs. I rarely see those for sale on CPO.

Another thing to keep in mind with the ebay store, CPO will match the price of ebay listing, in my case $50 less than CPO direct had on their online listing with same level of condition, including CPO 30 day trials. I got a alpha 815 GBB new in plastic with free shipping and 30 day free trial. On top of it, wanted the Fuji 565 instead of the 665 shaft and they swapped the shaft with free shipping, all after I had it the club for 2 weeks.

I love Callaway, bought one of their GBB hybrids as a result

March is the best time with 50% trade in bonus IMO. I've had them pay me more for items that I paid to buy from them a few months prior.

Right now they are having 20% off one item, but honestly I would wait for a better deal. Best deal I've seen is 30% off.

I just went through my old emails and most of my previous Buy One Get One orders have been in the October/November and January timeframes. However, I also had an order in July as well. So it appears that they run these deals during the Fall/Winter months but also run them randomly as well.

Typically their black friday sales are the best sales of the year where they have buy one get one free deals on hybrids and woods, 30% off wedges, etc. They do like 3-4 differents "daily deals" during the black friday week. But they also run sales during all of the major championships as well as like July 4th holidays etc. For free shipping just create an account and add the items to your cart and leave it for aday or so and you will get an email from them. Yes, their amazon certified pre-owned store is great as well. It sort of depends on what you are looking for though.

I can't even imagine a sale at CPO. Already such a great deal. Bought a Bertha Alpha in "very good condition" for $78 shipped. Came with adjustment took and new head cover. When I got it, it looked brand new. Literally couldn't even tell it had been hit.

 

My buddy picked up the same club with a worse shaft, no tool or head cover, and was definitely used for 150 at Golfsmith. I couldn't help but rub it in ?

 

It's about time for some new irons, my x18s are a little behind in technology. Maybe their next sale is my cue to upgrade...

Golfsmith's used clubs are the most overpriced items at any store ever. I was looking at 52* wedges and they were all $100. I walked across the street to Golfdom and got 3 SM4's for a combined $90.

Completely agree; I have never bought used clubs at Golfsmith because of the inflated price.

Depending on the condition of the average or good...their fairway woods could be a decent deal ($95-110 for a XR 5 wood with a stiff shaft). As far as the very good or like new ($125-140)...I'd be better off going to Dicks and getting a new one ($160).

 

Edit: I picked up a new XR 3 wood recently and REALLY like it. I went ahead and ordered a XR 5 wood in "good" condition. Hopefully it'll be in decent shape.

My XR 5 wood showed up today. The condition exceeded my expectations. There are some minor marks from use (it's clearly hit a few balls), but it looks cleaner than my XR 3 wood...and I've only used that for a handful of rounds. The head cover is matching (XR...not just a generic Callaway fairway wood head cover) and appears to be brand new.

 

I will definitely be ordering from them again and will likely stick with the "good" condition, if this club is a good representation of what to expect from them.

Their 30 day refund is the real deal too.

 

I bought a 3 wood back in June and then found another I liked more, when I called them they gave me 90% in return even though I was a bit beyond 30 days. Add in the $5 return shipping tag they offer and changing my mind on the club only cost me about $25 to rent it for a month instead of the typical 30-40% I would have eaten to sell it outright.
