M2 vs Great Big Bertha GBB

Which head would you guys prefer more? Both drivers produced very similar numbers for me and looks wise, very pleased with both. Anybody have any insight into why they'd choose one over the other?

Some bg about me. 6 1 / 225 lb / ss 115 / 5 hc but lose most of my strokes to the driver. Looking for something that is low spinning when I hit it well, but forgiving when I'm hitting it poorly.

Add the King LTD to your clubs you must hit. Took me a few rounds to adjust to the sound (coming from Ping). It almost feels like you are losing distance bc you don't get that big BANG! when you hit it. But the ball goes forever and misses are extremely minimized. This coming from someone who would shoot 75 with a 3 iron off the tee and 95 with driver. My scores have gone down in a big way in the last month since the change. I stopped losing balls to OB, and the game has become so much more enjoyable. #driverwoes

If they are the same for you, go with the cheaper one. M2 is $399 vs GBB $292.

As for me, I prefer the GBB.

In the looks and feel department I will stick with my GBB. Just fits my game best. Hit both the M1 and M2 and did not care for the way the ball came off. Did like the M2 better than the M1, but not enough so as I would make any changes.

Don't get the question. If they both perform similarly, any logical person buys the one that costs less.

I've never hit the GBB but I found the M2 to be hard to keep from going left. Something about the weighting makes that face really swing shut for me. I have not had this problem even one time with the Sub Zero. FWIW I found this face closing bias to be strong in the D2 as well.

I like the M2...........but the GBB is best driver no one talks about. VERY forgiving and it goes far enough to be impressive.

Gbb is what I have and will keep .. Went for a fitting in the weekend tried M1 and King LTD pro but neither could get close to GBB . Ended up getting a new shaft from stock speeder which added 10 yards and more consist dispersion.

 

Was recommended against the M2 as launch would be too high for me.

I have the GBB, went for a fitting and it outperformed the m1/m2 ever time for me. That is with the same shaft in all 3. I wanted to like the taylormades but I hated the feel. Felt very hard off the face, the callaway was very nice feeling. It also flat out went further and straighter for me.

Didn't try the M2, but I gamed the M1 for a few rounds and didn't care for it, and went back to my GBB. Got my hands on the Subzero and have been gaming that one every since. GBB is more forgiving than all of them, just like the extra distance I've found in the Subzero.

GBB with the Speeder 665 shaft. Great combo!

I switched from GBB to M2 for 1 reason FORGIVENESS, anyone who doesn't need more of it probably is paying for there equipment.

Bertha is better with flight and straightness for your speed, Ive had both
