Pretty nice weather overall for December 30, though probably a tad cold since Tex couldn't stop talking about my nipples.

Sully played a lot better than last time we played. He was fighting some pushes but he hits that mini very well. Putted very consistent.

Speaking of poor memories, this morning I had to email DC because I thought Eagle stiffed us on our sweet $35 DCGT winnings from earlier this year. Turns out Eagle paid us, I forgot about it, and lost the gift card. :(

Slipped my radar for a while, but do the words, "BAD COPS MAKE THE BEST CRIMINALS" get you a little excited?

 

How about, "Two corrupt police officers concoct a plan to rob a bank-style vault that belongs to a high-end heroin dealer."

 

How about if one of those police officers started the movie banging a hooker and smoking pot and that THAT police officer wasn't the police officer who is played by freakin Nic Cage whose father is played by Jerry freakin Lewis?

 

Do I have your attention now?

 

What if I told you Nic Cage delivers the best "OH MY GOD" ever put to celluloid? Yup.

 

Also, the movie is only 90 minutes long. Come on. You can find 90 minutes in your sofa cushions.

 

Also, it's not very good. But, it's not very bad and Nic Cage definitely screams the same line over and over again more than once in this movie. You're probably better off watching Bad Lieutenant again, but you could do worse.

I will tell you what, I think Night Of has gone downhill. Big time. I was so pumped after the first episode. It's become "dumb."

I really liked it. Truth be told, I am in Frederick for work this week, so it just made sense, though we considered a few places, including Waverly but they aerated this week I believe. I think it's a great layout. Love the variety. The silliness of some of the greens is kind of charming, but a few are a bit too severe.

First, the good news. I won my two day stroke play club championship. Bad news is that I shot 81/85. It was like running a race and noticing that all the other runners had fallen down. Three guys were in the 4-5 handicap range and should have given me a good match, but it was a comedy of errors out there. The winner from last year shot 89 the first day with TWO 9s. One guy dropped out after shooting an 84. The other guy who shot 84 the first day, finished his second round with a birdie for 88.

 

Well over 5 hour round. Rain, humidity, waiting and more waiting. City made the right move playing in Maine.
