I hit DTOWN's white Tensi and absolutely murdered it. This is a low spin beast and it feels absolutely great. The feel is better than my project x hzrds yellow. May have to consider getting one.

Any idea on the release date? I'm hope it will be available with the 917 line coming out!

ย

Also have you compared the D+ Limited that is coming out vs the tensi pro white?

ย

Yes you did. I think this shaft is firmly in the bag compared to the Diamana BF. The Diamana BF felt awesome, but the Tensei White was simply lower spin and longer. That said, I think the BF 70x will be AWESOME in the 3-wood. But the Tensei Pro White is here to stay in the driver for sure!

Just ordered a pro white 70tx. Are you guys tipping them at all? I am playing a hzrdus 70 6.5 tipped 1.25" and it's working well. Also like the elements platinum pt7f5 tipped a half inch. Also love the gd p9003x. What should I tip this guy? On course speed at 128mph.

Is this shaft counter balanced at all? I just received my 70 TX today and the swing weight is lower compared to a shaft that plays at the same length.

ย

Not really from what I've noticed. But many shafts do swing weight differently. That said, it's not advertised as a "counterbalanced" shaft.

The weave in the butt section makes this shaft thicker and heavier in that section than most other shafts.

Same thing for me, it has to have some counter balance effect with the SW's I'm getting.

Ok so I got fit for the 917 line coming out. The shaft that worked the best was the Diamana D+ Limited 70X in the D2 driver and Diamana D+80X in the F2 3W. Based on that how does the Tensi Pro White compare? Any idea on the shaft weights for the pro white is? Thanks

Based on flex profile, the Pro White would be very similar. I would assume the White will be available in 50-60-70-80 gram ranges.

I figured they were similar profiles my only issue is the weight. We tried shafts in the heavier 70g shafts like the speeder and results were not as good as D+ Limited I found out the limited D+ Limited in the 70X is 72grams. I didn't get the results we wanted with the heavier 70g shafts like 77,78,79g. So I was curious on the shaft weight as the Tensi Pro White.

Just want to ask a question I've seen a few others ask, but add something to it. How much did the reviewers as well as others who are now playing it, would you tip more, less, or the same now after having some time with it? Also what shaft and tipping were you using prior?

ย

Lastly, what's the orange profile again?

ย

The guy I bought it from told me there are two versions of orange prototypes. They are designated by versions, v1 and v2. I am just repeating the answers he gave me. The V1 is like a counterbalanced tensei pro blue. The V2 launches like blue, but spins like white. I can personally attest to the V2 performance, as well as an increase in ball speed.

I'm on the fence currently. I just picked a second Ahina real cheap, but with a Titleist tip for my 917 that's coming with stock D+ 70 LTD. On the fence about picking up a Tensei White Pro 70 or a W series. But leaning towards Tensei Pro White I think.

If you can get your hands on a V2 orange, I'd highly recommend it. I don't feel it's appropriate to post a seller's information, but if you want the info, let me know.

Having played the whiteboard, D+, second gen D+, Ahina, Whiteboard, and now the Tensei white I would say get the Pro White and don't look back.
