Socks to wear with Nike LC4s

So I just picked up a pair of LC4s to give a bit more stability than the TW15s were giving me... I tend to rock the Kentwool tour profile socks that on the TWs come just above the ankle bone, and look nice, but on the LC4's I'm not a fan. Looks goofy, as they come up a bit high when I'm wearing shorts, which in Los Angeles, is almost 100% of the time...

 

So, all you Nike lovers out there, what socks are you wearing with these? What brand of no-show stuff are you going with?

Nike Dri-Fit Half-Cushion No Show are my go to. Also have a couple thinner Nike Running heel tab socks that I swap to depending on the weather.

I had a hard time finding socks that worked with mine for the same reasons you described. Ending up finding some really thin under armour running socks that run below the ankle and they are perfect. I'll see if i can find them online and post a link.

Nike Dri-Fit Anti-Blister running socks, or Nike Golf Dri-Fit tab socks. The tab not only protects against Achilles rub, but has a nice swoosh on it.

Old school FootJoy roll tops, or any no show running sock with a heel tab.

Going to look into the under armour socks. Tried most of the ones mentioned in here with my LC4 and realize that suggestions are coming without either the same concern or any actual experience wearing the shoe.

I wear LC3 and LC4 almost exclusively. When wearing shorts, I always wear the FJ roll top I mentioned. No issues at all with either shoe.

I have the roll tops here. It may just be my unique preference then. I would prefer less than an inch of sock sticking out of the top of my shoe. Really, I would like to hide the sock while retaining ankle protection. So I am in search of an even lower cut sock with a runner Achilles tab.

i'm 100% Nike clothes but when it comes to performance socks, i can't find a pair i like and i've tried quite a few. I've been wearing swiftwick aspire for a while now with the help of others on here (TW13, TW15 & LC3's). haven't looked back. feet are nice and dry after a hot and humid round.
