no, your listing looks fine. however, costco just announced the ksig will be back. so if you're looking to get money now, i'd change the listing. once the masses learn the ball isn't "gone forever" the bottom of the secondary market will drop out.

OK I get it. I have been playing around with the math on selling the ksigs for some ridiculous mark up, then buying some other tour level ball stock with the profits. In the end you basically break even. If i can sell them a $100 a dozen though that's a different story. I just heard some of the ebay horror stories and figured i'd give it a shot. i still own many more dozen i plan to play with for the next season or two.

Looks like it's going to be very windy. Regardless, I'm going out with the intention of playing very aggressively and trying to make a ton of birdies. I can't imagine I'm going to put up a better score than the "no doubles" round, but I'll see. Playing with a full bag of MXCCC's.

 

I think I said it before, but I am currently just LOVING belonging to a club right now and playing winter golf. Going out at 3:00 and playing 18 and just being outdoors in wide open spaces is so soul satisfying. And, I'm liking Hobbits more than I've liked it at any time before. I love playing off dormant Bermuda. They re-did the bunkers this winter and the sand is actually better than it was at any time during the season last year. The greens are rolling decent, and pretty fast. I'm not re-upping at HG, but considering a couple options. IN case people didn't know, Waverly and Blue Mash are doing a combined membership program. 1000% agree with all of this. I've played 2 nights this week until well after sunset, basically the only one on the course. I love being able to hop around holes, play different tee boxes, drop a few balls, screw around with a new camera tripod - whatever you want.

 

I love late fall/winter golf so much for all of those reasons and its the one thing you cant quantify when people are looking at a membership cost.

 

Dormant Bermuda not only plays great but I think it looks/photographs great too.

The openness of the course on crappier days (it's still slam packed with olds on the nicer days) in the off-season is definitely creating a view through rose-colored glasses type of effect. It's almost strong enough to make me think I should stick it out there in 2017, to see how it goes.

 

I'm still tempted by Turf, since it would give me that kind of access all the time. I just don't see any scenario where I feel like forking over cash for full membership after this season though. I don't have enough disposable income to not care about the cost, nor do I feel like I'd get enough use out of it to feel good about what I'd be paying.

 

I think it's becoming increasingly likely I just go total free agent this year.

I played Bridgstone stuff back when I was at my best in the early 2000s.

 

J33 combo and J33CB, J36 irons. J33R driver was a bomber back when I could actually drive the ball. Low spin, great feel, but small sweetspot.

I 100% agree with this as well. The last month and a half have been great. Being able to hit the range or short game area after work and then walk 4-5 holes before it gets too dark has been very enjoyable so far. And good for my game.

 

I think there was one other person on the back 9 with me last night when I was out there. I hit 2 tee shots off of every hole and would then practice different chip shots around the green. I am excited about the days growing a bit longer though.

sidenote: sub $20/doz. for a name-brand urethane covered golfball has feeding frenzy potential. i think srixon did this on purpose to generate buzz/get early adopters of their new ball. pretty pretty pretty good.
