Mallets with more weight

I have a heavy ping ketch 388gram head, my instructor reccomended something with more weight to help keep on line. What models would that be? Thanks

388 grams is pretty heavy. Dual Balance putter heads are in the 375-400 gram range from what I've seen.

 

How heavy is your grip? The counter core 50 gram super stroke helps me quite a bit with distance control and keeping the ball on line.

^^^^^what he said....Mighty heavy already. Try a heavier grip like a pure big dog, or a P2 react.

I've been playing a Bettinelli Studio Stock #16 mallet very well.

 

360gm head + Super Stroke with 50 gm counterweight.

How does a heavier grip help it stay online? Never thought of that but my putting is what's keeping me from being a low Single digit. I miss a bunch of 2 to 6 foot putts and of course i've had putting lessons. Anything to help it stay online is appreciated. Thanks

I cut down a Scotty Cameron X7M counterbalance putter to my normal 34" and kept the 50 gram weight in the grip. Putter is really heavy but it helps. Have had no problem on fast greens
