Titleist 690CB. Going on 15 years now. Stopped playing except 2-3 times a year for a 5 year period in there. Tried the 710CB a few years back and didn't like it. Going to try the 716CB now so my 690s might soon be my backups if they are as good as everyone on here says.

I have a 690.cb 2 iron and it is an absolute bomber..i miss my 690s (i had a set of the mbs and cbs) i sold my cbs to a friend for 50.00 in really good condition and now every time we play i just look at them and get jealous....like watching an ex girlfriend with another dude...710-712s arent as good...714s are solid but different feel....716 are amazing but still, i think the 690 feels better.

Real accurate !!And Long !!

Hit three balls with 9 iron and they were Very close together eg 3 feet.. this is a good sign.

Nike Pro Forged (aka the Original Blades) - bought in 2004 and haven't been out my bag since, so 13 years this year. May replace them with a set of VR Pro or Vapor Pro's this year, but wedding plans mean that may not happen - so I suspect the Blades will survive another few years.

Much like the OP I am giving up a club in yardage, but as I can guarantee the 7 iron will go 150 this bothers me not at all.

The Dee Three - Titleist TS4 9.5 deg, EvenFlow White 6.5 65g, A1 Setting

Henrik - Titleist 917 F3 15 deg, Rogue Max 75x, B2 Setting

The Walking Stick - Titleist 818 H2 19 deg, Rogue Max 85x, B2 Setting

The Interloper - TaylorMade P770 3 iron, S400 Tour Issue, +0.5inch +1 deg loft

The Blades - Nike VR Pro 4 - AW, S400 Tour Issue, +0.5 inch

The Sand Iron - TaylorMade MG2 TW-12 Grind, 56 degree, S400 Tour Issue

The Flopper - TaylorMade MG2 TW-11 Grind, 60 Degree, S400 Tour Issue

Zero rounds. Fresh build of RSi TPs ready to go for 2017. Now, I did play RSi TP for the past two seasons, but I'm in a different shaft with these and the new ones are MOI matched rather than swing weight matched.

Got some 714 AP2's for a great deal. They were purchased in September or October of 2016 and it took me awhile to get used to them. I would say 1/2 a winter season so that's not even really a season. Looking forward to playing with them all summer! Even though I am already looking at new sets because I like to try new stuff.

I got my set of Taylor Made Oversize Burners in the fall of 1998. IMO, these are one of the best irons TM ever produced. Great head design and perfect combination of forgiveness and playability. I played them exclusively until 2009 when I got a set of Cobra Carbon CB's. I rotated the Cobra's and TM's off and on through 2014. The last two years I've gone back to the Burner's exclusively. There days are somewhat numbered however as I want to switch to regular flex shafts in my irons. I'm also thinking about a switch to blades.

I got my Ping i20 irons 5 years ago in April. Hard to believe it's been that long, but I'm hitting them better than ever! No plans to change at this point.

Callaway X-16 Pro Series...got them new. So, about 13 years or so. I've demoed plenty in the years since, but I haven't found anything better for me.

I had those clubs for about 5 years or so. Nice sticks. I thought the long irons were especially easy to hit consistently.

Up until yesterday when the UPS man arrived I could have said about 19 years. I have a great set of Callaway Steelhead X-14 irons that have served me well and I haven't really seen a need to upgrade. I've always hit them well and the iron play has never been the weak link of my game. But as Lou Gramm (not the golfer) would say...that was yesterday.

I am now the proud owner of a new set of Callaway Steelhead XR irons (3-PW, AW). I have not even hit them yet; Only a few swings in my living room.

So that's my story and I am really excited about getting out this Friday for an early-morning round with my new irons.
