Feel is important to me so I prefer a forged iron over cast which is why I didn't like the iblade or i200, however I have heard positive things about both. I would suggest doing a proper fitting and starting with Mizuno JPX forged, titleist AP2, Wilson v6, srixon z765, callaway apex pro. Depending on how strong a ball striker you are you could try the titleist 716 Cb, mizuno mp25 and jpx tour. Just went through a fitting and the finalists were the 716cb and Wilson v6. The 716cb barely edged out the win with project x lz shafts. Can't wait to get them in

One set which nobody has mentioned yet are the Wilson Tour V6s. I saw a great review from Rick Shiels on them. He said as the end of the review he may have to put them in his bag. I have also heard lots of good things about the mizuno jpx line. Congrats BTW for lowering your handicap. I'd love to be close to your starting point.

So many great options out there. The i200s are great and feel every bit as good as the JPX 900 forged. Maybe better -- not a big fan of the boron-infused Mizuno models. The JPX line is not like the MP line in feel. Hit a bunch of clubs and see how they feel to you, that's what matters most. I did and it surprised me. The cast vs forged argument is overblown given how both are constructed these days. A lot of allegedly forged heads are not true forgings and even those that are have thinned-out faces to create spring-like effects. I no longer consider forged vs cast as meaningful unless you are talking MP 4 or similar. You can change shafts and have a greater impacf on feel in modern irons, IMO. I liked both clubs, have gamed Mizuno irons in the past (MP 59, JPX 850), but this time went with Pings because of more bounce and forgiveness in a club with a better players look. The i200 gave me more confidence that I could carry the monitor performance onto the course. Also found the Srixon z765 quite nice and forgiving. Like the soles on those and a beautiful club. Those are worth trying. The Wilsons Tour V6s are just out. Have not hit but I have hit the previous V4, which are excellent, and am hearing the updated V6s are one of the best of 2017, snazzy-looking and forgiving, tungsten weighting and very playable. I would like to swing those sometime as I think Wilson makes an outstanding but often-overlooked iron.

Z745's or J15CB's.

The J15 feel incredible and both look similar from address.

Low offset and the 9 and PW aren't rounded out at the top of the face. Consistent distances with no flyers and beautiful.
