Sorry, another Las Vegas course question

I'll be in Vegas this week and have narrowed down courses to

 

Bali Hai

Revere Lexington

Bears Best (but they might be under maintenance)

 

For comparison, I really like playing Reflections Bay, but don't want to go there again. I've played all the Paiute courses and liked all of them. I did NOT LIKE Rio Secco as I felt the course and amenities weren't worth what they charged!

 

Looking forward to your advise...

Bears best. Same designer as reflection and very good course. Better than the other two listed. If not there then primm is my recommendation.

I think Lexington is being aerated now. I haven't play Chimera recent enough to comment on conditions, but from what I've read recently sounds like a worthy play and hope to get out there in the next week. They don't aerate until July 10 & 11, so that's not an issue.

I have not played Bears in a few months, I heard it is torn up right about now.

 

If you have the budget, Cascata is amazing. I really like coyote springs, but it is 45-60 min drive from the strip.

Played Paiute a few weeks back. Great set of courses, I think their going to have one of the three punched but the other two are in great condition.

Well I scratched Chimera off my list. My chauffeur saw where it was and she'd rather pick me up from Paiute!

 

So back to Wolf, I suppose...

Has anyone played the Wynn course and just as important is it worth it?

 

Haven't played it but the common agreement is that the expensive ones are ranked in this order.

 

1. Cascata- a little less expensive

2. Shadow Creek- similar price but much better

3. Wynn- If you have a gambling problem and it is free then have fun.

Go to Rhodes Ranch. I played there last week for the first time, and it's a great course. Conditions were fantastic, and they actually seemed to have their s*** together when it came to managing start times and the like. It's going to be in my heavy rotation list for sure.

I played there last week too. Great condition. It is not too difficult; definitely a nice feel-good course.

Rhodes Ranch is def on my 702 golf rotation; have played there many times. What scares me about RR is the pace of play, it's a hit or miss.

 

Looking at conditions tomorrow, 22-36mph wind gusts, Paiute Wolf would be a brutal course to play. May have to adjust schedule for a Friday round.
