I consider the mp59 to be one of the best players irons made in the last 20 years. Feels great, forgiving, mb like topline and sole, goid distance for a players iron and as workable as u can demand. They are pretty durable too. I still have my set(ive owned 3 and gave one to my brother as a wedding gift)

If i ever stop playing mbs, 59s or 588 forged are gonna be my go-tos

Sell your current set. It only becomes a problem when you have multiple sets and no where to put it. I don't see any problem with changing out clubs as long as the flow in equals the flow out.

Reminds me of one of my golfing buddies. His wife got him a purple and pink colored golf bag for his birthday. He hated it but couldn't sell it or get something else because she would be mad. He got kidded all the time about it because everyone thought it was a women's bag.

Love the MP59s. Have those in PX 5.5 and I have had many nice ball-striking rounds with these irons. I rotate clubs in and out, but I can't part with them.

 

I just picked up a set of used MP15s with CTaper Lites and bought them mainly because they are a blend of two heads I like -- the 59 and 64. Curious to see how they compare on the course.

I would totally be on board but she bought them for me.... I picked them out and she went out and found exactly what I wanted used in mint condition. That was 4 years ago and I play a ton of golf
