How about Dottie telling Scott Brown he has yet to win on the PGA Tour, then him correcting her saying he won the 2013 Puerto Rico Open... Instead of her just apologizing she just rubs it in even more clarifying that it wasn't a "full field, regular event".

 

 

Basically telling Scott Brown "Oh yeah my bad, you won but it was against a bunch of losers so you didn't actually win." The video is gold. You can tell Kisner just wants to walk away.

Her comment or whatever you call that the gibberish she spoke about being a full field event was totally uncalled for and didn't even make sense.

 

Please get rid of her! I'm sure there's a driving range she could run somewhere.

This was NOT one of her best moments. She's apologized on Twitter already; I don't think she's losing her gig over it but it was an uncomfortable exchange.

She's always been QUICK with the block button on there - not one for criticism evidently.

I watched her in an LPGA event in Vegas about 20 years ago. She was downright nasty to her obviously cuckolded husband who was also her caddy at the time.

 

With that said I actually like her. It was an awkward exchange with Scott Brown. She obviously was not aware he had won a tournament and then didn't want to totally concede that she had been mistaken.

In her defense Puerto Rico is an alternate field event and won't be on the PGA schedule anymore effective in 2018.

All these commentators try to get the "scoop" or the great one liner from these guys. Clearly, someone doesn't have an eloquent response when they are in shock from their win. Just let them have it and interview later.

 

This same sentiment is why the NoLayingUp podcasts are so popular with players and fans and the mainstream golf media is dying hard. Let the player say what they want instead of trying to corner them into saying something stupid that you can write an article about on Monday.
